We are a family-oriented practice that treats patients of all ages in a comfortable and welcoming environment. We specialize in all aspects of dentistry including but not limited to orthodontics, endodontics (root canals), implants, Invisalign, oral surgery (tooth removal) and non-surgical periodontics (gum treatments).

In 1994, Doctors Jay and Janice Cazes moved to the Long Valley area. At that time, Dr. Jay joined theSparta Dental Associates team sharing the responsibility of patient care with Doctors Caruso and Parker.

In 1995, Doctors Cazes opened Cazes Family Dentistryin Long Valley. As their home office and family grew it became increasinglyharder forDr. Jay to work in both locations. In 1996 Dr. Jay left Sparta Dental Associates to concentratehis time on Cazes Family Dentistry and helping to raise his family. In 2016, as Doctors Caruso and Parker considered retirement they reached out to Doctors Jay and Janice as dentists they trusted to take over the care of theirpatients. Now as empty nesters, Doctors Jay and Janice welcomed the opportunity to come full circle and resume the care of patients at Sparta Dental Associates. In the spring of 2017 working side by side, Doctors Caruso and Parker transitioned their practice over to Doctors Jay and Janice.

Ourgoalis to create a friendly environment where people could come and become not only patients, but part of our family. Doctors Jay and Janice met at Georgetown University School of Dentistry then went on to do hospital based general practice residencies. They have achieved prestigiousFellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry awards. In addition they have completed advanced training in orthodontics, implant dentistry, and root canal treatment. They currently teach at Morristown Memorial Hospital and at Practical Clinical Courses in Provo, Utah. The doctors are always looking at the latest techniques and procedures to provide state of the art care for their patients.

Doctors Jay and Janicehave recently been awarded the distinction of a Mastership of Academy of General Dentistry. In order to achieve this honor, Doctors Cazes each had to complete over 1,100 hours of continuing education inall of thedifferentareas of dentistry; with 400 of those hoursspecificallydevoted to hands on training.This award is only achieved by approximately 1% of dentists in the world. As such, Sparta Dental Associates is able to provide comprehensive, quality dental care to patients of all ages without having to frequently refer people to other providers.

They are also mentors with Gordon J. Christensen at Practical Clinical Courses training center in Provo, Utah. Through this mentorship program, they train fellow dentists via hands-on courses four to five times a year, not to mention receiving upwards of 200 hours annually of continuing education on their own. Outside of work, they are also board members of an Equine Special Assistance Program (Freedom Horse, LLC) to provide equine assisted hippotherapy for individuals recovering from trauma, PTSD, and other needs.In addition, they are also board members at their local religious organization.

Outside of work, Dr. Jay enjoys running and recreational bicycling on long distance rides. He has completed the Grand Fondo in New Jersey a number of times, as well as the Princeton Century Ride and Revolutionary Ramble. He and Dr. Janice have two children that they enjoy spending time with.

When Dr. Janice isnt in the office, she is an avid marathoner. In fact, shes run both the Steamtown Marathon in Scranton, PA as well as the Boston Marathon. If youre out and about in town, theres a good chance youll spot her, squeezing in a long run as she trains for her next race.

He is on the Medical Staff of Saint Clare's Medical System in Denville, NJ. He actively attends numerous dental seminars and is a member of the Seattle Dental Study Club, which is dedicated to excellence in continuing dental education. Dr. Nusbaum volunteers his time, over many years, as a Board Member of the Morris County Municipal Utilities Authority. He is also an avid photographer.

Following graduation, Dr. Emma Quigley elected to complete a General Practice Residency at Morristown Medical Center. While there, she gained additional experience in dental trauma emergencies, pediatrics, and oral surgery.

Dr. Emma prides herself in her communication skills with patients and her ability to make patient's feel welcome! She currently resides locally and in her spare time enjoys reading, cooking, and traveling.

Jessica was born and raised in NJ. She is engaged to her fiance Anthony. Prior to entering the dental field, she has managed a number of Verizon stores. She enjoys old movies and listening to Taylor Swift.

Florence is our compassionate dental hygienist with more than 34 years of experience. She has advanced training in.dental anesthesia and frequently attends workshops anddental education courses. Florence provides gentle yet thorough dental care for all members of the family.She loves educating patients and helping them to achieve optimal dental health.

She attended Morris County College and graduated in 1985 with a Certification in Dental Assisting. Out of school she worked for a periodontist and in 1986 began working with Dr. Nusbaum and has been with him ever since.

If you find dental insurance too expensive, or your coverage doesnt include the services you need, ask about our CazesCare plan. This service is available for one monthly fee and includes all necessary preventive care, including cleanings, checkups, and x-rays. If any treatment is needed, enrollees receive an additional 10% off of all procedures.

Throughout the year, they frequently volunteer with the Valley Brook Day School and Meadowbrook Country Day Camp. Both dentists are members of the board of Freedom Horse, LLC., and provide equine assisted hippotherapy to students and campers at these facilities.They also take part in the Halloween Candy Buy Back as part of Operation Gratitude where they collect candy and then ship the candy, along with toothbrushes, to soldiers stationed overseas.
