Dr. Lee was fortunate to have a wonderful dentist as a child, Dr. George Schuette in East Point, GA. He provided Dr. Lee with many great experiences and eventually encouraged him to pursue a career in dentistry. Medical sciences were his favorite classes growing up, and he has always loved working with his hands, so it seemed like a perfect fit! He also liked that dentistry would enable him to take great care of his patients while also allowing for plenty of time with his family, which cant be said for all professions!
Dr. Lee graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Georgia before earning his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia. Despite nearly four decades of experience, he completes over 100 hours of continuing education each year. He is a graduate of the Foundation for Advanced Continuing Education, the L.D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education, the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Education, and Baylor Universitys Continuum of Contemporary Esthetic Diagnosis and Treatment.
Dr. Lee has been married to his wife Cheryl since 1981, and they have three children: Dr. Lauren Polito and her husband Yoann are practicing dentists, Dr. Jennifer Lee holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and is currently working with a research company in San Francisco, and Taylor has a master's in viticulture and oenology from UC Davis.
If he isnt at the dental office or spending time with his two grandchildren, youll almost always find Dr. Lee in the shop behind his house, often working on old cars. His biggest project to date was a four-and-a-half-year rebuild of a 1970 Chevelle Convertible. He also enjoys woodworking and making little toys for his grandsons.
Dr. Lauren Lee Polito, DMD is a fix it type of person, meaning when she sees something thats broken or needs repair, shes always excited to make it better. She loves meeting new people, listening to them describe their dental needs, and then helping them accomplish their goals in the most effective and conservative way possible. Dr. Lauren Lee Polito, DMD literally grew up in our dental office, and her first job was here, too. But, what really affirmed her love for dentistry was her experiences on medical/dental mission trips. She got to see firsthand how dental care could make lasting, positive changes in someones life in a relatively short amount of time, and she knew she wanted to make it her career. Since becoming a dentist, she has gone on other mission trips to Central America and East Africa and hopes to do more in the future.
Dr. Lauren Lee Polito, DMD earned her dental degree from The Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University. After studying and practicing in Colorado, New Mexico, and France, she decided to return to Fayetteville to be closer to family. Over the years, she has completed several courses of continuing education, including ones focused on surgical extractions and socket preservation for implant placement, CEREC one-visit crowns, endodontics (root canals), periodontics, and implant dentures.
Dr. Lauren Lee Polito, DMD met her husband, Yoann, during their second year of dental school. He was an exchange student from France, and after finishing school on either side of the Atlantic, they married, and they are now the proud parents of two little boys. When she isnt spending time with family, Dr. Lauren Lee Polito, DMD likes to ski, travel, practice photography, and try out adventurous recipes.

Two weeks after my last review, and I received my new crown. Again, a pain-free experience, even without numbing medication. Julie and Dr. Lee worked to make the crown fit perfectly. Could not be happier. Dr. Lee did the best job of numbing my jaw of any dentist I have ever used. (I'm 66.) He really is the best! Also, big shout out to Julie!She's a great addition to the the staff. Six months later, Oct. '21, I had a great check-up with Laurie and Dr. Lauren. This is the best dental practice ever! It's now April '22 and another great checkup is in the books. My thanks to Laurie and Dr. Lauren. August '22 and I was able to get in same day to secure a loose crown over a dental implant. I am so grateful for Dr. Lee, Dr. Lauren and the entire staff! October '22 and another visit in the books. Dr. Lee did some bonding work followed by a regular checkup. Such a pleasant experience!

An extremely friendly and concerned group of people. The most painless visit to the dentist I've ever had...and I had multiple shots of novacaine! I didn't even feel any of them due to the top of the line technology and equipment that Dr. Lee invests in for the care and comfort of his patients. I'm also a big fan of the fancy and effective suction gadgets they use that help keep you from choking on your saliva and water. That has always been an unpleasant part of dental work, and they have virtually removed the discomfort. I can't recommend them more highly for friendliness, care, up-to-date, and quality dentistry! Best dentist hands down. I'm afraid of dentist. Dr. Polito is the best. Always concerned about the patient. This office is so gentle with their patients. I'll always go to this dentist. 10/4/2022 10/25/2022. Had to return to the dentist to get permanent crowns. Got there, at what I thought was my appt time, but was 2 hours early. They could have easily sent me home. But because they care about their patients they worked me in. Super nice, super gentle, no anesthesia or Novocaine needed and I have sensitive teeth. Hands down the best dentist, not only because of their gentleness and great work, but because they really care about their patients. Love them.

Great service! They are wonderful to work with, especially for those with anxiety around dental work. My hygienist, Leah, is very comforting, kind, gentle and detail oriented as well. Dr. Lauren Polito is so down to earth. Never in a rush. Comes in and shoots the breeze a few minutes like you are her only client that day.

This was an overall great experience--I began as a new patient, and left as a forever patient. I will say I was a bit overwhelmed. They are very knowledgeable, and they truly want the best for their patients, but there was an overload of information. It got to the point it was in one ear and out the next. But they took the time to fix an issue my previous dentists never caught--so I am VERY thankful that they were very thorough, but it got to the point where I felt like I was attending a dental class.
