Dr. Anthony Spain received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (which is now referred to as Rutgers School of Dental Medicine) in 1987. He completed his post-graduate specialty training in orthodontics at Howard University College of Dentistry in 1990.
Dr. Spain is well versed in all aspects of contemporary orthodontic principles, applications and biomechanics. He has been in private practice since 1990 and maintains a successful practice in his hometown of Montclair, New Jersey.

Went to Dr. Spain as an adult for braces to fix an over gap. Dr. Spain was gentle and made me feel comfortable. I actually fell asleep as he was putting the braces on. My follow up appointments he explained everything to me and put my mind at rest. Best doctor I've been to in my adult life.

Dr. Spain delivers exceptional skills, knowledge and temperament. He educated my husband, son and I about the anatomy and physiology of the gums and teeth. He then explained the procedure of applying braces and how to care for them. Well rounded professional in his field.

One of the best orthodontist out here. The experience was amazing. Dr. Spain and his staff are extremely knowledgeable and very professional. The office environment is amazingly clean and comfortable. My teeth are amazing and I have received so many compliments. Thank you Dr. Spain
