Dr. Sayania grew up in Auburn, Alabama. In high school, he played tennis and helped win the state championships for 3 consecutive years. He then attended Auburn University where he majored in Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Sayania was then accepted into dental school at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In dental school, Dr. Sayania also completed a research fellowship at the National Institute of Health awarded to only 10 dental students in the nation.
After graduating from dental school, Dr. Sayania stayed in Philadelphia, to continue his orthodontic training in the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Sayania completed his Masters research project at the Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia where his work was recognized by numerous national awards. Dr. Sayania graduated with his certificate in Orthodontics and his Masters of Science in Oral Biology.
Dr. Patel grew up in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He was the valedictorian of his high school class before receiving his Bachelor of Science in Economics from Duke University. Dr. Patel was immediately accepted into dental school at the Medical University at South Carolina College of Dental Medicine. He graduated near the top of his class and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.
After graduating from dental school, Dr. Patel moved to Louisville, Kentucky, to continue his education. He was accepted as one of six residents into the University of Louisville Department of Orthodontics, a prestigious full-time, 2-year program known for its intensive clinical training. Dr. Patel graduated with his certificate in Orthodontics and his Masters of Science in Dentistry. His orthodontic training includes Invisalign certification and experience with all of the latest orthodontic technologies.

The team at SP Orthodontics are great. I never thought at the age of sixty that I would need Orthodontic care. They have been great explaining the process and setting expectations.
