Dr. Robert Reti attended the University of Toronto, awarded an Aiming for the Top tuition scholarship. He earned his H. BSc. In Human Biology: Health and Disease Specialist degree. During his studies he headed the University of Toronto Pre-Dental Society as President. He was involved in research at the world-renowned Arthur and Sonia Labatt Brain Tumor Research Centre at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto. He was part of a team investigating a novel vasculature receptor for the brain tumor glioblastoma multiforme. He graduated from the University Of Detroit Mercy School Of Dentistry where he was president of the Research Group and was the first person in the schools history to be awarded an American Association of Dental Research Fellowship. He remained on the Deans Circle list and was invited to join Alpha Sigma Nu Dental Honors Society upon graduation.
Dr. Reti completed his general surgery and Oral & Maxillofacial surgery training at Tufts Medical Center in 2013, a pediatric and adult trauma level 1 hospital in Boston. During this time he was the Division I representative for the Resident Committee of the Academy of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. After completing his residency in 2013 Dr. Reti was selected for an advanced fellowship in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, where he trained with some of the cities most respected facial cosmetic, maxillofacial and occuloplastic surgeons. It was during this time he was able to hone his advanced skills in dental implantology, TMJ disorders, bone grafting, facial trauma, obstructive sleep apnea and facial cosmetic surgery.
Dr. Reti is an active member for the Greater St. Louis Dental community. He continues to publish cases in the local journals and is an active speaker to the dentists in the area. He serves as a clinical professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Missouri School of Dental Medicine and Oral health. Dr. Reti also is a clinical instructor of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Washington School of Medicine. He is continually updating his knowledge and is the lead oral surgeon in multiple study groups in St. Louis and run his own Spear Dental Study Club. Dr. Reti is a diplomate of the American Boards of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Additionally, he has obtained diplomate status of the National Dental Anesthesia Board, an achievement a minority of oral surgeons have obtained.
Dr. Reti is a lead author of the book Oral Board Review for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery: A Study Guide for the Oral Boards by Springer Publishing. The book is a collaboration with his colleagues whom are the leading experts in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Plastic Surgery and Otolaryngology. The book is intended to aid residents and surgeons to keep up to date in surgical knowledge and an aid to tackle the Oral Boards for diplomacy in the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

This was the most reassuring experience in an otherwise fearful trip to the dentist. The staff and most of all my oral surgeon was the best I've had in years! The bedside manner and responsive, considerate follow up of Dr. Waite was most impressive! I would highly recommend this practice for more than just their personable embrace and impeccable professional delicacy and expertise! Hope I never need another tooth extraction, however if I do, I know for certain I wouldn't trust any other staff to complete the task! Many thanks to southwest oral surgery & dental off Baxter!

As always, this office is top notch. The staff is friendly and the office is clean. Dr. Oglander has a great bedside manner and was able to quickly and expertly remove my teen's teeth. Highly recommend this office.

No one wants to get a tooth root extracted. Dr. Reti and staff made this god-awful experience as good as it can be. Professional, knowledgeable and actually quite amusing, they had me in and out in two hours. I recommend this practice to all. Thank you!

What a wonderful experience! I was expecting the worst, but got the best. The staff was amazing, Dr. Oglander called to check in on me, and the recovery process was painless. My fear of the dentist is completely gone. Southwest Oral completely changed the way I felt about going to the dentist. Couldn't be happier.

My son had his wisdom teeth out here (all four at once). They were so efficient, thorough with after care directions, and so nice! After the procedure with general anesthesia, the technician walked my son all the way out to our car in the parking lot. And he's not a kid- he's 21! The oral surgeon was so friendly, I thought maybe he knew me from somewhere, but then I figured out he was just being nice. My son is healing well. Highly recommend!

Visited in July2021 for 1 extractions and today Sept2022 for 3 more. Dr Waite took care of me both times and I had an excellent experience both times. The staff is truly all about making the process as easy as they can for their patients. Extremely pleased with my results. Highly recommended.

Dr. Brian Oglander is the most wonderful, personable, down to earth doctor I have ever met. I had 3 wisdom teeth extracted and from the very beginning he leveled with me and went over my options. He personally checked on me the evening after my surgery. His wonderful staff checked on me as well. I have never felt more like family at any other facility. I'd give them 10 stars if I could. Thank you Dr. Oglander and your wonderful staff. Highly reccomend for your oral surgery needs.

AVOID THIS OFFICE! So many issues from the beginning and now I'm at a point to just write my review and be done with these clowns. My jaw had been hurting and numb for two weeks after the surgery. Couldn't get ahold of the surgeon (Dr. Kramer) who had done the procedure, so I had to call their after-surgery hotline which continuously put me on hold or told me they couldn't do anything at the time so they would put me on a waiting list to call back... Never happened so I had to wait until the following weekend to try again. It took several weeks and writing a bad review on their FB page to finally get ahold of Kramer who told me he was unaware of me trying to reach out to him and that no one in the office had notified him about my previous times trying to reach out. After seeing him, he suggested I come in every month to check if the pain and numbness. This took about several months, to where he was out of answers, and suggested reaching out to a neurologist for further assistance. He gave me a name of a doctor and I tried calling his office several times with no luck of anyone answering. Again, several weeks to find out from this office that the doctor that Dr. Kramer referred to is no longer in business... Really? So their solution was to go to another specialist all the way out in Chicago, IL from Manchester, MO... There is a lack of communication at the place and some of the staff are rude and unprofessional. My own mother-in-law-to-be won't go back because after they had ripped and broken one of her teeth while pulling it out. It's just another buck to them and they could care less what comes after. Avoid this one at the Chesterfield office.

AVOID THIS PLACE: Lack of communication from the entire staff at this specific facility. They are rude, incompetent, and the surgeon had failed numerous times to follow up with the patient (my fiancee). Her surgery was back in March of this year and she is still having nerve issues. After months of getting nowhere and being thrown left and right to places that were no longer in service provided by this company, their solution was for us to drive all the way out to Chicago, IL to see a neurologist. They do not care about their patients, all they care about is your money. My own mother will not go back to this place after she had her own procedure (they ripped her tooth out aggressively and broke it inside her gum). They also lost track of us making payments and had sent us numerous bills stating we didn't. it took 3-4 people to finally figure out that it was a slip on their end. We are done with this place. AVOID THIS PLACE

Was gently treated with great care, procedures explained very carefully, and during the procedure, the doctor and his assistants checked on me every few minutes. I cannot recommend highly enough!
