Dr. Pearce is a General Dentist focused on patient needs no matter how big or small. He loves working together with his patients to create individualized treatment plans. Equally important to him, he enjoys being a part of a family centered practice, accepting patients of all ages.
An Orland Park native, Dr. Matt graduated from Carl Sandburg High School. He went on to receive his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Illinois at Chicago with honors and graduating Summa Cum Laude. He completed his Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the UIC College of Dentistry. As a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society and Chicago Dental Society he is always advancing his clinical skills through continuing education.

We were referred to Dr. Tentler by my daughter's pediatric dentist who works with special needs children when the dentist felt it was in my daughter's best interest to have additional treatments that was beyond what she could provide. Dr. Tentler went forward with all of my daughter's needs in a way that kept my daughter comfortable and it was very thorough. She comes back every four months, as is needed for her, with the hygienist that makes her comfortable. I recommend Southwest Dental Group for anyone who has a special needs family member.

Great Experience with Dr. Pearce and Dr. Tentler. Had two appointments and they did a decent amount of work. Had more planned but life kicked me in the butt and I ran out of Vacation/Sick days. However, when I am able, I will be back as soon as I can.

So thankful for these dentists. Came thru in such a huge way when we had a family dental emergency... we weren't even existing patients. Our daughter had a great experience and has been out of pain ever since her appointment. We have decided to change our dental needs to this practice even though they are about 2 hours away. Thank you Dr. Tentler and Dr. Pierce we appreciate you so much. Also, staff has amazing chemistry and makes you feel at home.

Dr Tentler and staff came highly recommended due to my son's needs. My son has medical and developmental issues, the staff at Southwest Dental has meet all of his needs. They have taken extra special care of my extra special boy. Thank you ladies for always taking excellent care of my son!

I bring my special needs sister to Southwest Dental quarterly. The staff is kind and compassionate. They take their time to make sure she has a good experience. Highly recommend Southwest Dental, especially for those who are uncomfortable at the dentist.

I'm lucky to have found southwest Dental. Everyone here is professional, friendly and patient. Dr. Pierce is wonderful and is never heavy handed. I don't "dread' having to see the dentist like I used too. Parking is great, no meters to feed.

Professional and friendly dental assistants took excellent care of my adult son who has a disability. Dr Tentler is friendly and knowledgeable and spends time with each patient . We are very satisfied with the care provided by SWDG.

Dr. Tentler, Dr. Pearce and the entire staff are incredible. My 16 year old son is high functioning on the Autism Spectrum. Dr. Tentler and Dr. Pearce are very knowledgeable about his diagnosis. They are extremely patient and helpful. They take pride in what they do and how they take care of their patients. I wish I had found them sooner.

Trying to find the right dentist to treat my brother wasn't easy. He is a young adult who has severe profound Autism Spectrum Disorder. With this, comes many challenges that impact my brother's ability to receive the extensive dental care he needs. When Dr. Tentler agreed to take on my brother as a patient, my family and I were very grateful. Dr. Tentler was very thorough and explained each step of the treatment my brother would receive succinctly. Moreover, Dr. Tentler and his staff were very patient, with my brother and expressed the utmost kindness and consideration towards my brother and to us. This appointment was a big success!

Dr. Tentler is an excellent dentist. About 30 years ago, I needed to move from my pediatric dentist and saw a handful of dentists that caused pain and did not seem to care about my dental concerns. Upon a friend referral, I went to see Dr. Tentler. I was so glad I did. He is caring, listens to your dental needs and can complete any dental procedure PAIN FREE! I've been a patient ever since. About 8 years ago, my son needed to have several cavities filled and his pediatric dentist required an anesthesiologist to get the cavities filled. This was going to cost us over $2,000. I then called Dr. Tentler and he was able to get all the cavities filled without anesthesia. It was a miracle. My son still has anxiety over dental procedures, but still goes to the dentist without complains because he wants to see the funny dentist. He loves him so much, that he wants to be a funny dentist too when he grow up. It's been such a blessing to have him as our dentist. Recently, Dr. Pierce has join the practice as well. Dr. Pierce is just as good as Dr. Tentler, so you won't go wrong with either doctor. They are both dedicated to your dental care and concerns, pain free. Dr. Pierce is polite and easy to talk to. Again, I can't say enough good things about this dental office. The dental hygienists, office staff, and assistance are all excellent. It a caring facility that works together to meet all your dental needs.

Dr. Tentler and his staff have completely changed my experience for the better. I am very thankful to have found such a caring, and gentle handed group and now my entire family goes to see them as well! I now look forward to coming and know that I will be very well taken care of. Nothing beats clean teeth and a good laugh, they are all hilarious. Shout out to Dr T, Kasia, Marzena, and Paulina!! Southwest Dental is awesome. My son William is 28 years old and Autistic. It was so difficult to find a good dentist that accepts adult patients with disablities. The staff is amazing, kind and professional. William is so comfortable with his Hygenist, she is patient and very thorough. We feel so blessed to have found this dental office.

This was our first visit to Dr. Tentler and Group with our special needs adult son. We were referred here from his previous dentist whom we had greatly respected. Upon entering, we were greeted immediately and made to feel very comfortable by all the staff. We found both Dr. Tentler and the hygienist Beata to be professional and engaged as well as attentive to the needs and limitations of our son. We were relieved to have found a new dentist for our son so quickly as we had dreaded making this change. We would recommend Southwest Dental Group to any parents of special needs children in need of services.

Most of us have anxiety about getting dental work which is why Southwest Dental was recommended to me over 20 years ago. Dr. Robert Tentler has expertise in anesthesia which I have had several times with great results. Practically everything is done there and Dr. Pearce his partner is very knowledgeable and caring. All of the staff are exceptional people always willing to work with you. Southwest Dental definitely comes highly recommended.

My sons have been visiting, their friend, Dr. Matthew Pearce, and told me he was a good dentist, but he is much more than that. 24 years ago I had an awful experience with a dentist that displaced my jaw, since then, I run the moment I feel any anxiety. Dr. Pearce put me at ease, explained all the options. No judgment, only compassionate and excellent service from Dr. Matthew Pearce and his associate Maria.
