Dr. Thomas VanDenBerghe received his Bachelor of Arts in medical biology from the University of Utah in 1988, and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Oklahoma in 1991. He completed his residency with the Air Force Hospital at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska. He received his Certificate of Specialization in Endodontics from the University of Nebraska in 1997, and after which he opened his practice, Southtowne Endodontics. His twin brother, John, joined him in 1998.

He and his twin brother, Thomas, have been practicing endodontics in the Sandy area for thirteen years.
