I am very passionate about serving the community, both locally and on a global scale. I was fortunate enough to participate in two mission trips to the Dominican Republic to provide dental care to underserved communities. I am a localSmiles Change Livesprovider. This program promotes increased self-esteem and improved oral health for children in need of orthodontic treatment whose families cannot afford the full cost of braces. I am also passionate about supporting our youth in the SouthShore area through support of our local schools and the YMCA.
I earned my bachelors degree in anthropology with distinction from Yale University, then went on to receive my dental education at Columbia University, where I was president of the orthodontic society. After dental school, I completed a three-year residency in orthodontics at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center.

Liliana is our Spanish speaking person and a creative asset to our marketing team. She works continuously to find new and exciting ways to make the patient experience enjoyable and satisfying.Her favorite part of the job is working with such fun and positive team. She also enjoys getting to know the patients and seeing their reaction when they see their beautiful smiles at the end of treatment.
Kamina is Dr. Matts sidekick. They have worked alongside each other for many years. She has been a dental assistant for twelve years and enjoys spending time with each individual patient in such a calm and caring office environment.
Bobbi comes to us with over 30 years of orthodontic experience. She works alongside Dr. Matt during patient visits, changes wires, and also gives instructions on the best way to care for your braces and appliances. Bobbi strives to make your time with us comfortable and as positive an experience she can and loves being part of a fun family atmosphere where smiles are transformed.

Amanda is our team member that loves to have fun! The sillier the better! She joined our team with 14 years of Orthodontic experience. Her favorite thing about being apart of the dental field is getting to know the patients and playing a part in improving their smile!
Brittney is one of our newest orthodontic assistants that moved to Florida with ten years of experience. Youll find her mainly in the back assisting Dr. Matt with placing braces, removing braces and changing wires. Youll even find her upfront at times welcoming patients and helping to answer the phones. Her favorite part of working at Southshore Orthodontics is the family vibe we provide along with making every smile worth showing.

Dr. Mary is awesome. The entire staff makes you feel welcomed right away. They are efficient and professional. I drive 45 minutes to see them. You should as well.

Southshore Orthodontist has definitely exceeded my expectations. My daughter needed treatment and Dr Mary and her assistant was so knowledgeable and patient with explaining treatment that needed to be done. The office staff are truly passionate and so heart warming when you first enter the door which put me and daughter at ease. I would definitely highly recommend guaranteed to love the staff and environment.

I am not a big fan of dentists, but the staff at South Shore Orthodontics was friendly and helpful. The doctors do a great job of explaining what work they are doing and why it needs to be done. I felt comfortable allowing them to work on my teeth.

Dr Mary is absolutely incredible. My daughter is 9 and having expanders put in and braces has been a very difficult experience for her. She's young, she doesn't fully understand the value, and did not want to go through the process at all. Dr Mary was kind, friendly, empathetic, and made the experience tolerable for my daughter. I would recommend anyone, especially children, to SouthShore orthodontics.

All I can say is "WOW". From the front desk to the procedure chairs, the entire office was amazing. Minimal wait times and easy to schedule appointments. Dr. Matt was amazingly thorough at his exam and explaining my options. The diagnostics such as the X-ray and CT of my jaw they used to examine and evaluate me were a welcome tool that wasn't offered by the at-home Aligner companies. The cost was much more affordable than I originally planned and they spent a lot of time going over my payment options and explaining my benefits. Probably the nicest and friendliest staff I've ever encountered. Im looking forward to improving my smile with them!

I have to say that the staff at SouthShore Orthodontic made me feel at ease from the first day of my consultation. My daughter has been a patient now for about 18mths and i couldn't be more happy with the service we have been provided. We have felt at HOME from day one. As you walk into the office, you are greeted with happy staff, and happy like they enjoy their job and what they do. The staff felt more like a family working together and we were treated as part of the family as well. Thank you so much for taking great care of my daughter and treating us like family! If my younger daughter ever need braces, SouthShore Orthodontic will definitely be first choice! Thanks again.

We have 3 family members currently under SouthShore's care and have been very happy. My dental hygienist recommended them to me because of the attention to detail she's noticed in her patients that have used them - and I agree. Both Dr. Matt and Dr. Mary have been thorough and meticulous. They're also less expensive than the quotes I received from FishHawk area orthodontists. Also... WOW, Dr. Mary has made my son's experience better than I could have imagined. He has dental anxiety and is very sensitive and challenging when it comes to sensory input in his mouth. She's been amazing at calming him, encouraging him, making him laugh and feel good about himself. It's been such a gift, as a mom, to watch. I wish I could take her with me to his dentist!

Very friendly, attentive and patient. If I have questions, they have detailed answers available. Scheduling and rescheduling is very easy. Pricing is competitive and hard to beat. The results are also better than I expected given the initial state of my smile/teeth; very satisfied. I would highly recommend if you are looking for an orthodontist.

My son got his braces done here today. This is the best dental place I've been too so far. They are so family oriented, and care about their patients. This is a very friendly place and will go above and behind their duties to help you in anyway they can. I would recommend this place to everyone, they definitely get 5 stars from me. I love Lisa and the rest of the staff they will do anything for you
