I legitimately have no idea how in the world this place is still business. The front desk staff is incredibly rude, the waiting room is small, awkward and weird smelling with the moldy fish tank, and the services provided are borderline inhumane. My husband went to get a root canal, they exposed his root and left it uncovered and said it was because of insurance reasons! What?! To boot, a week later I was on my way there after my husband and I both took the day off to have my wisdom teeth removed which I was obviously nervous about and had followed all the protocols for eating, drinking, etc for just to get a phone call while we were pulling in their parking lot saying that they had to cancel my appt due to the dentist having a sick child that he had to go pick up from school. I truly believe this happened to save me from something horrific happening in their care after reading previous comments. Do not even consider this place for any reason, ever!

Absolutely horrible place to go to, receptionist incredibly inappropriate my daughter got sick tested positive for Covid night before appointment and because we couldn't go they refuse to make another appointment because we have to call 48 hours before I do not recommend this place to no one. If I could give no stars I would.

Disappointed and have been in pain for months because I was put on a do not reschedule list because they don't answer their phones. Also refused to pull teeth but wanted to do root canal after root canal which are toxic and still hurt to this day. Not to mention sitting there with your mouth wide open while he works on other patients in between. I have recommended these guys to plenty of people and I shouldn't have. Also don't forget to make sure your appointment is in the books before you drive 50 miles to be told they forgot!

I have a special needs daughter who also has autism and language problems. My daughter has a genetic disorder and low IQ.. Dr. doesnt want to see her again. No understanding nor compassion . Thanks, doctor.

I had an amazing experience for a dental experience the hygienist was nice the receptionist was nice the dentist was nice my teeth are beautiful beautiful and I do have to go back to have a Crown put on, but I have no reservations even though there are bad reviews I give this place a 5 star and I don't like the dentist in general!

I am never ever going back here got my wisdom tooth token out last Tuesday. NO ONE ANSWER!!!!! now a week later I'm in pain and have pus coming out I have called since 8:00am now its 8:30am no one has answered or returned my call. My pain isn't getting any better and headache are really killing me. Sad to say this place should not even be open with this type of service I'm sorry but this pain is not no joke

This place was terrible. Strapped me down after they put the iv sedation and had a panic attack. Barley gave us any after care instructions this place is the worse never going back.

This place is a NIGHTMARE! I wouldn't even take my chances of getting my wisdom teeth pulled here due to the consistent warnings in reviews/in person from the other's who've experienced getting strapped down, forgetting to put a gauze in your mouth (which is extremely important), started the procedure before the numbing medicine kicks, on top of that they barely answer the phone.... No way.

I got my wisdom teeth removed here. They forgot to put gauze in my mouth and barely told me any aftercare instructions. The written ones are incomplete and left me with a lot of questions. When I called so I can ask, they didn't pick up. Called multiple times. They strapped me down for the procedure. Basically I had a ton of blood in my mouth after a procedure I was strapped down for, was told not to spit but didn't have any gauze and then couldn't ask what to do since they weren't picking up. When they finally did, they told me a bunch of instructions that weren't mentioned on the paper or in person.

I have to admit I was terrified to come after reading people's reviews. I would like everyone to know the negative reviews posted are absolutely untrue! I went for IV sedation last week for work. Everyone was awesome! The staff was professional, gentle, caring and provided an explanation of the work involved. I had the best experience and will continue to receive services from Dr. Colwell and his staff. As a healthcare professional who comes from a quality assurance background should speak volumes in my review. Thank you Southroads Dental!

Horrible experience with dentist. Assistant was nice. Office staff was nice. No gel was put on before the needle....told him I could feel pain.....he continued anyway. I demanded he stop....numbed me again... didn't wait for it to take effect.... just kept going....I started to cry and move CUZ I COULD STILL FEEL IT and was told to lie down and knock it off. Then he shoves a needle into the tooth....down to the root....unbelievable pain.... and he kept going....DO NOT GO HERE. EVER.

I was referred to this office for a root canal. Appointment was made for 1:15 and we were there at 12:45 in case we could get in early. I had the new patient paperwork filled out in 5 minutes. The two ladies who were there when we got there got in and out in a half hour. At 1:30 another girl and her mom came in and got called back at 1:40. At 1:45 we left. Honestly I was relieved to leave as the office itself seemed sketchy and dirty.

The receptionist is extremely rude and does not listen to anything. She talks over you and does not want to take insurance unless you have an insurance card, even when it's all online and they just have to call to verify. This is the second time she has been rude and condescending.

This place is THE WORST. Don't explain anything! Had wisdom tooth removal felt so much pain and he WOULDNT listen during the process. Strapped me down. Was very rude and unprofessional. 10/10 would NOT recommend

Giving this dental office 1 star is too kind. Would NEVER recommend anyone going here for dental work. After reading reviews on the way to an appointment for my wisdom teeth removal I became a bit nervous that I wouldn't have a good experience. The reviews are all correct, they do in fact strap patients down and they do it when you're already too sedated to say something. Upon arrival I even asked the woman at the front desk if that was part of the procedure and she lied to my face and promised me I would not be strapped down as that was only for pediatric purposes. The dentist who removed my wisdom teeth was rude and only allowed me to ask 3 questions before telling me I needed to be quiet. I was even having a panic attack because my arms were strapped down and they completely ignored me. Overall HORRIBLE experience. Trust the reviews as they don't lie, this dental office and their staff are a nightmare and should not be in business.
