She is married and has 2 beautiful daughters and an amazing son. She also has a granddaughter who calls her Gigi. She enjoys spending time with her family at the lake, looks forward to concerts with family & friends, is always looking for her next traveling adventure and loves to shop!
The vision she has for her career is to help patients of all ages achieve and maintain a beautiful, healthy smile. Her calm nature makes it easy for patients to feel comfortable at their visits with her.
The best part of my days is getting to know the patients and building relationships with them and their families. I feel so fortunate to spend my days with a team that takes a personal interest in each and every patient that walks through the door.
Sue is a Registered & Certified Dental Assistant who has worked for Dr Lichtsinn for over 30 years! Youll find her not only working chairside, but also doing lab work and helping out at the front desk. Sues down to earth demeanor has a way of making our patients feel at ease when they come in to Southpointe Dental.
Leslie has been working with Dr. Lichtsinn for over 30 years. When she is not assisting chairside, you can find her throughout the office helping with lab & office work. Leslies kind heart has a way of making our patients feel like family.
Leslie and her husband, Jeff, grew up in Moorhead and still call it home to this day. They have 2 grown children, a son and daughter, who are both married. Leslies 4 grandchildren add a lot of fun and enjoyment to her spare time. She also enjoys time at the lake, friends and doing crafts.
Fargo dentist, Dr. Jim Lichtsinn is a lifetime resident of Moorhead, MN and graduated from Concordia College. Jim is married to his high school sweetheart, Mary Ann. They have two grown children. Their son and his wife are both physicians and their daughter has a masters degree in social work. Jim and Mary are enjoying their new role as grandparents to a beautiful granddaughter and grandson.
Dr. Lichtsinn received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He completed a post-doctoral general practice residency at the V.A. in Minneapolis and was an instructor at the U of M. He returned to Moorhead and purchased the practice of Dr. Louis Remark. In January 2008, Dr. Lichtsinn relocated his practice to Fargo and established his state-of-the-art clinic at Southpointe Dental.
Jims passion for dentistry has led him to study at the Dawson Center and the Pankey Institute for advanced dental education. His studies at these prestigious institutes include: dental implants, dentures, reconstructivedentistry, cosmetic dentistry, dental appliances for sleep apnea/snoring and treatment of TMJ dysfunction. He loves using what he has learned to better help his patients.
A vested member of the dental community, Dr. Lichtsinn is an active member of the American Dental Association and the N.D. Dental Association. He participates with the Pankey Advanced Learning Group, a study club of dentists who pursue excellence in treating complex dental cases. He is past president of the Red River Dental Access Project, a local philanthropic group dedicated to finding dental care for disadvantaged patients. He regularly volunteers at the Dental Urgent Care Clinic, Mission of Mercy and the Donated Dental Services program.

My appointment today with Dr Susan Althoff at Southpointe Dental was fantastic! I immediately felt very comfortable working with her and her staff at her dental clinic. She is very knowledgeable and so patient all the while listening to me explain my dental issues. After reviewing my dental issue she was able to identify and help to correct it at my appointment! I highly recommend Dr Susan Althoff and Southpointe Dental Clinic and staff to anyone! I will definitely make forward efforts to let my co-workers, friends and family know about her and for them to consider her for their future dental needs & exams for family and friends! My son had an accident at school and knocked out part of his tooth. I called our normal dentist and he was out of the office. They referred me here and they got me in RIGHT AWAY. They by far exceeded my expectations with service!

Saw Dr Althoff office today for routine cleaning and exam. Both she and the hygienist were friendly and made a point to visit a little to get to know the patient! We will remain patients for the foreseeable future!

Southpoint Dental was recommended to me by a coworker when we moved to Fargo in 2007 and our family has been coming here ever since. Dr. Lichtsinn is an excellent dentist and a kind person. The dental hygienists do a great job and the receptionists are always friendly and professional. I have recommended Southpointe Dental to several friends and coworkers over the years and all have been very happy with their service.

Dr. Lichtsinn and his staff are very knowledgeable, professional and very kind. They make you feel comfortable and relaxed regardless of what procedure you are there for; whether a cleaning or a complex need. A dentist is someone not everyone is comfortable with, but Dr. Lichtsinn is a proven expert worth trusting.
