Dr. Murchison is an active member of the American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Society (NCDS), the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the South Charlotte Study Club, and the NCDS Mission of Mercy program. She has been awarded Top Dentist status by Charlotte Magazine and isa Patients Choice Award recipient.
Dr. Zekan has resided in Charlotte for most of her professional career. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Charleston in West Virginia and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of West Virginia. After serving as an associate professor of operative dentistry at the NYU School of Dentistry, Dr. Zekan relocated to Charlotte and joined Dr. Murchison shortly thereafter.

I had a same day appointment with Dr. Hobbs today. I have been a client of this practice for 25 years but have never had Dr. Hobbs. She had to redo some bonding that had come out and she did a green job. She also addressed some other dental questions that I had. I did not feel rushed and I would go back to her for any dental need. 10/10!!!

When Dr. Zekan walks in your room, it's is more like meeting an old friend than your dentist. You trust her because you know she's not going to hurt you. If something is going to be a little uncomfortable, she tells you in advance and actually apologizes saying something like "I know this is going to sting a little, and I'm sorry". Such a sweet person and great dentist, too!

My first visit here and everything met my expectations! Staff was very friendly and helpful and Dr. Lynne Murchison was honest and straight forward. I only needed a routine cleaning and I appreciate there was no upsell on things I didn't really need. I definitely recommend SouthPark Dental & Oral Care to others looking for a new dentist in the area.
