We are 100% dedicated to providing the highest-quality care for our patients while serving as an educational resource for their parents. In fact, most of our team members are parents themselves, so they know exactly how it feels to be on your side of the dentists chair. When you visit Southmoor Pediatric Dentistry, you can expect well treat your family like our family.

Pediatric dentistry is more than just cleaning teeth, preventing cavities, and treating dental problems. I chose to specialize in pediatric dentistry because it is about building relationships with each patient, every parent, and the entire staff. I discovered my true passion for pediatric dentistry during my clinical rotation while in dental school. As a parent, I know that raising children is a challenge, so I appreciate being able to help moms and dads as they do their best for their children. I also enjoy helping children develop a good attitude towards their oral health and towards dentistry.

I thoroughly enjoy being able to get to know some of the best families and the nicest people in Denver! It is great to see parents who love their children and are working hard to keep them healthy as they grow to adulthood. While we dont like to lose a patient when they get older, it remains our goal to have our patients transition to adulthood with perfect teeth. It is a joy for me to see a 21 year old graduate from our practice with a great smile and no fillings!

When Dr. Brad isnt with his Southmoor Pediatric Dentistry family, he can be found with his other family. He and his wife, Barbara, have four grown children Matthew, Michael (and wife Katie), Nathan (and wife Maria) and Nikki. Michael and Katie have one daughter, Lucy, the first granddaughter! Dr. Brad and Barbara have lived in Colorado since 1981, and enjoy skiing, hiking, golfing, travel, and beach vacations! We enjoy spending time in Edwards, Colorado, and often can be found on the slopes of Beaver Creek, Vail, and occasionally Snowmass in Aspen.

Creating positive experiences and lifelong healthy smiles is what pediatric dentistry is all about. A childs dental experience can shape their outlook on dentistry and their oral health, which is why it is my mission to make sure every patient leaves our office happy and healthy. I am dedicated to providing a better dental experience to all my patients than what their parents generation experienced. With a combination of thoughtfulness, a little humor, and the occasional magic trick, I find this to be a successful combination to break the ice with patients and create a fun and memorable dental experience.

Taking the time to get to know your child, asking them about their lives and interests, and finding out what they love to do are some of my favorite parts of my day. Ultimately, my goal is to graduate your child from Southmoor Pediatric Dentistry with no cavities and with an attitude that dentistry is not only just okay, but great!

The university mission is to serve the people of Michigan and the world through preeminence in creating, communicating, preserving and applying knowledge, art, and academic values, and in developing leaders.

As a father of three, I understand the importance of high-quality health care that is geared towards making sure every child has a positive dental experience. Being a father during dental school really opened up my eyes and heart to pediatric dentistry it was a natural and comfortable fit from the moment I started my first pediatric clinical rotation. I enjoy watching my patients grow and mature through the years and personally getting to know them and their families.

While it is important to explain each step of a dental exam or treatment, I believe the most important aspect of pediatric dentistry is making a strong connection with your patients outside of the dental chair. Talking to patients about their interests, hobbies, and other events in their lives help make patients feel like they are more at home rather than at the dental office. Kids love this one-on-one attention and, Ill have to admit, it allows me to bring out the inner-kid in me, too.

In my free time, youll find me spending time with my family outdoors enjoying the many opportunities that living in Colorado affords such as fly fishing, mountain biking and golfing in the summers and skiing the slopes and snowmobiling in the winters. I also enjoy cruising around on my motorcycle taking in all of the beautiful mountain scenery.

We love Southmoor Pediatric Dentistry for the last 5 years. The staff is super friendly, very accommodating towards kids and everything that comes with them and experienced. My kids love them and don't fear going to the dentist. I never feel like I'm being pressured into unnecessary procedures for them. It's quite the opposite, more a monitor and check back kind of situation to determine the best steps forward. That approach certainly fosters a high level of trust in me towards the staff. I know when something is being recommended then it's needed and in the best interest of my kids.

Our daughter Olivia who is 6 years old had a great first visit with Dr. Scott. Dr. Scott made us feel welcome and took care of Olivia wonderfully. Olivia was nervous at first, but now is looking forward to going back. Awesome place and office. Will be taking our two year old there as well.

Southmoor Pediatrics Dentistry has been amazing since day one. My son was not up for his first appointment so we scheduled out his next appointment. The techs were patient, gentle and really listened to my son wants and needs. Gianni felt heard and was able to trust the staff, allowing them to clean his teeth the second time around. Southmoor really focuses on the patients experience and is willing to take the time/extra visits and necessary steps to ensure a positive experience.

Today was my first visit at Southmoor pediatric dentistry. I wasn't sure what to expect from my 2.5 year old son and I myself am always nervous about new health care for my children. The visit turned out amazing! Dr. Scott was very helpful, patient and knowledgeable. He has an amazing bedside manner with children and the staff is very accommodating toward typical child behavior. My son sailed through x-rays and his procedure with flying colors. He even talks about how great his visit was all the time, asks to wear his new shirt from the dentist and says he wants to be a dentist now when he grows up. I am looking forward to bringing my other children year and hope to have a long relationship with Southmoor. I couldn't be more pleased.

I called Southmoor Pediatric Dentistry to check if they accepted Delta Dental insurance. The receptionist said yes, so I scheduled first time appointments for my two kids. I asked if I should give her the insurance info over the phone, but she said no, I should provide it at the appointment. At the appointment, everyone was very kind. The doctors were great. When I did all the paperwork, the desk staff asked for insurance info, I provided it, and she said she'd look it up. Then with the social security number she said, "thanks, I found it." And that was that. I was ready to recommend the place to others until a huge bill came because my insurance company said they were out of network. Southmoor Pediatric Dentistry said, "we just ask if you have insurance, not if it will cover our services." Except that I did call and ask ahead of time. The staff "verified" my insurance and "found it" at the time of appointment. At best, the staff was misleading. At worst, they lied to me. Either is, in my opinion, an integrity issue. And honesty shouldn't be a question when you're dealing with a health care provider. Should I have verified directly with insurance before booking? Sure. But I asked the dentist office, and I hadn't expected to be lied to. Now I have a huge bill that will take away from my family.

My 3 year-old and 6 year-old feel very much at ease during teeth cleanings! They look forward to it for weeks beforehand--it's a fun day for our family! I am always impressed at how the staff are able to accomplish the cleaning efficiently and help my kids feel happy during their visits. Everyone is so personable and knowledgeable-- and always follow up with any concerns from prior visits. Also, all three dentists are top notch!

Today, I had 3 teeth pulled. I would like to give this dentistry because of all they have done to be as gentle as possible. I have had 11 teeth pulled over the years at the Southmoor Dentistry and I have had no bad memories there. Thank you so much for always being so comforting, not to mention funny along the way. Sincerely, Griffin Brown
