Dr. Kalra is a caring, personable, gentle dentist who strives for perfection in all facets of dental health. Dr. Kalra is a graduate of University of Colorado, School of Dentistry. She has been practicing dentistry for 15 years at Axiom Dental Group, her current practice. A strong believer in continuing education as a means to ensure that her patients receive the highest quality of dental care, Dr. Gunjan Kalra has completed several post graduate dental programs. Her training beyond dental school includes a yearlong implant residency at Loma Linda School of Dentistry with emphasis on surgical and restorative management, mini residencies in TMD and sleep apnea through the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, certification in Invisalign orthodontic treatment, training in smile designs and many other continuing education courses.
Besides being committed to her patients, Dr. Kalra is dedicated to giving back to her community. She has volunteered at the Childrens Hospital, Ronald Mc Donald House, Mt Olive Church, 9 News Health Fairs, AVID program at Cherry Creek Schools, Garden Terrace Alzheimers facilities and Heather Gardens Retirement Community. She is involved with donated dental services which provide pro bono care to individuals who are on organ transplant lists.
Nanette K. Front Office Financial Administrator, employed at Southlands Dental for 28 years. Nanette handles all financial aspects of our practice. Nans favorite part of her job is interacting with patients. They feel like family to me. In her free time she enjoys any outdoor activities, especially in our beautiful Colorado mountains. She also loves to travel.
Amy Q. Patient Treatment and Insurance Coordinator, employed at Southlands Dental for almost 20 years. I really enjoy going out of my way to make each patients experience in our office a special one. I view each and every patient as a very important part of our dental practice. I strive to make them feel important by greeting them by name, researching their insurance benefits, working with them and Dr. Kalra to plan any necessary treatment and maximize their dental benefits. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Kalra is an ethical, professional dentist. She is very thorough and explains about the dental issues you're facing and the best ways of solving them. She is very gentle and her injections are virtually painless. She has excellent technique. Her staff is also very professional and friendly. All costs are discussed and an estimate is provided that details each procedure and it's costs. I am currently driving from Buena Vista to Aurora to have her provide the dental care that I need. She's worth the drive!

Not only do I receive excellent dental care at Southlands Dental, but the entire staff is warm and welcoming. They make "going to the dentist" an enjoyable experience! Dr. Kalra is knowledgeable, experienced, professional and friendly. I leave feeling informed and knowing what my options are going forward. My hygienist, Stephanie, works with a gentle, yet thorough touch - plus she's just a joy to be around. Amy at the front desk is efficient, friendly and knows her stuff! I highly recommend them all!

Southlands Dental is the dental provider for my entire family, and we're all very pleased with their careful, gentle and intelligently-applied services! They have been able to accommodate our needs every time, even short notice emergency situations. Doctor Kalra has taken the time to discuss different options clearly and honestly when I've been faced with dental challenges, which I appreciate very much...The office is very well staffed, organized, clean and serene. I had a great experience Venus did an amazing job cleaning my teeth . I was scared to visit a dentist after COVID but everyone made me feel safe. They take good precautions regarding COVID . I totally recommend it

My family has been coming to this office since our kids were little. The office has always treated us all like family and have taken great care of us. Our adult children are now bringing their family's to the office. It's hard to find a place where people care enough to treat you that way, they really care.

I won the lottery when Dr. Gunjan Kalra was recommended to me. Upon entering the office, Amy makes you feel comfortable, welcoming, and is a genius handling Insurance paperwork. The Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and never makes you feel rushed. Dr. Kalra explains all aspects of the treatment plan and different options. I highly recommend Dr. Kalra's practice to everyone.

I have been going to see Dr. Kalra since she was in residency, in dental school, and I'm always amazed at how concerned she is that her patients get proper care for the long-term. The quality of her work is excellent and she is very personable and professional. The staff members in her office are all very caring, friendly, and professional. My wife and I are so happy and impressed with her work, and her staff, that we drive from Morrison, to her practice, for our dental care.

If I could do 10 stars I would. I have been to several dentists with my share of bad experiences. I have never been as comfortable in a dental chair as I am with Dr. Kalra. She is invested in the well being of her patients. She is truly magical. She will be my dentist as long as she is still practicing. I must add her staff is also part of the magic.
