Dr Yura is the best. On Friday night I had an abscess and was leaving the country for 10 days on Tuesday. Thought I would have to cxl my trip. I was able to reach him that night and get meds and he did a root canal first thing Monday morning. I could not have asked for better treatment.

Best experience. Was very helpful by giving me as much information and options I needed to make the decision best for me.

Everyone is always super nice and friendly and efficient. My hygienist Samantha was great, gentle and cared how the cleaning felt. Dr. Tampoya is always timely and kind as well. Check in, out and the cleaning are all great experiences.

My hygienist is Mai and she is great - very gently yet thorough; professional and friendly. And I've always been a fan of Dr. Tampoya - I've been going to him for years. He's kind and great at giving shots - almost pain free!

After this week's routine checkup and cleaning, I'm reminded why Southlake is the best dental practice I've ever used. Hygienist Alyssa was thorough, professional and pleasant. And, as always, Dr. Yura reviewed my history, thoroughly checked my dental health and offered interesting and fun conversation. Love this place!

Horrible customer service. Ask them why. Never again! There are more professional offices anywhere. Don't trust these clowns.

Terrible customer service. I waited two months for this appt. My son and I were recommended to come here and had anxiety about his first dentist visit. I'm normally on time to my appointments but was stuck behind a bus and as a single mom things happen. I even called to tell them we were running late and when I got there was told I can't be seen and "as an adult your expected to be on time." This is understandable for a repeat offender but I'm literally a new patient who just had a bad day. Terrible experience. Lack of compassion and tact.

The office staff is very unfriendly. While these are very trying times the people up front do not make have very good tact in dealing with difficult situations and make poor choices. Both dentists are fine but there lack of managerial experience shows.

I really wanted to give this office a higher rating. The staff was friendly, courteous and accommodating, but my results of a simple procedure made me grateful for the amazing work of my previous dentists. In 2009, I visited Farmington Village Dental (CT) for adult braces. My front teeth were chipped due to overlapping, an overbite and grinding my teeth. That team straightened my overcrowded damaged teeth in 9 mos. Once straightened, they applied resin to reshape my two front (previously chipped) teeth. The resin lasted 8 years, despite my grinding and lack of dedication to the retainer. I woke up one recent Sunday and saw a very small outside area of my front (my) right tooth had lost the resin, meaning the outside area was back to the pre-resin state and not "chipped." I looked up cosmetic dentists through my insurance and was recommended this office. I drove 35 minutes for the visit and was promptly seen. However when I saw my dentist it seemed like he was irritated by my teeth. Instead of speaking to me, he told his assistant my treatment recommendations (veneers! and an invisalign consult) while he chipped away at my OVERnumbed tooth. He showed me his first draft and I was disappointed because it appeared to be significantly longer than its counterpart. When I asked him to trim it, he said he couldn't go any lower or "it would break." That was confusing because why would going closer to my natural tooth cause more of a break than RESIN obviously sticking out and scraping along my bottom teeth?? But I'm not a dentist. My last dentist gave great results and I figured they'd do the same, especially based on reviews. There was a rough spot on the back of the tooth I didn't feel until the numbing wore off 4+ hours later. The rough spot is a sign the resin wasn't fully set. But I didn't know if it was because I wasn't used to that tooth being so long so I didn't question it. 36 hours later? The resin chipped in the middle (opposite side of the initial concern) when I bit into a soft tortilla chip. It was a Thursday night. I had an on-air appearance the next day. Because the office is closed Fri-Sun, I attempted to call the emergency line for existing customers. I recieved no answer, the voicemail inbox didn't exist and I never got a call back. So I spent all Thursday night researching other offices who could repair the resin. Thankfully I found one I could book online for first-thing in the morning. They fixed the tooth, explained to me (directly and not their dental assistant) treatment recommendations and potential future challenges. They also considered my schedule with numbing and did so on a targeted area. Because of this office's initial mistake (or dismissiveness), I had to pay an additional $361 out of pocket for a simple repair that would've been mostly covered by insurance otherwise. I still haven't recieved a call back.

I've been a patient for many years and the doctors and all of the staff are great. Super friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable! I actually enjoy rather than dread coming to get my teeth cleaned!

LOVE this place! It was my first visit and I loved the visit as well as the staff and the doctor. They were all super nice. They did not try and tell me everything that was wrong with my teeth and sell me products, which I loved about them. I will continue to visit this dentist. I never thought I would actually find a dentist that I enjoyed going to and now I have! If you are not a person that enjoys the dentist I would highly recommend this place as they are wonderful and take time to make sure you are okay during the visit and they make you feel so welcome!

Southlake Family and Cosmetic Dentistry was recommended to me by my son who has been highly satisfied with this practice for over 10 years for himself and his family and I'm so glad he did! Dr. Yura and his staff is friendly, courteous, patient and caring from the moment you walk in the door to the moment you walk out. I felt comfortable with Dr. Yura who took time to discuss my options and then did a great job solving my dental issue all the while being concerned that I wasn't experiencing any pain! Then I received a follow up call the next day to check up on me and I was glad to report that I was doing great! I highly recommend this practice!

My Husband and I love Dr. Tempoya and his whole staff. Our kids 4,5, and 7 all see him as well. He has a very calming presence and puts us at ease. The staff is always so friendly and remembers our name. We really feel like family when there!
