Dr. Todd Remmers received his DMD from Oregon Health and Sciences University. He went on after practicing general dentistry for four years to receive his Certificate in Endodontics from Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry.
As an early adopter of technology, Dr. Remmers has served as a trainer for CEREC CAD/CAM technology and as a clinical advisor for a dental software company. He has also researched dental composites and has a study published in the Journal of Endodontics on the subject of intraosseous anesthesia.
Now that he has completed his years of lecturing and hands-on seminars on Precision-Based Endodontics and serving as a member of Real World Endos Board of Advisors, he maintains a private practice in Southlake, Texas.
Dr. Chad R,. Allen was born in Des Moines, Iowa. He attended Mercy College of Health Sciences and completed a degree in Radiologic Technology, then received his DDS from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. Following graduation, he moved to Dallas, Texas to begin his endodontic specialty training at the Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry. Dr. Allen successfully completed his 27-month advanced specialty program in root canals and microsurgical endodontics then entered private practice in Southlake, Texas where he is committed to rendering the highest quality of care with compassion and professionalism.

Very very poor experience. Came in for a consult just to look at a tooth issue my general dentist saw on an X-ray. Angel with the front desk was amazing but she was the only thing that was great. Sat down in the exam room and the assistant Shontae was incredibly rude and abrasive. I questioned the need for a CT scan since I wasn't getting treatment today and I knew it was an extra $150. It was almost as if I took money out of her own pocket how offended she was that I questioned the need for it. Dr. Remmers came in and usually they show their face and shake your hand, but I got a "hi Emma" and tools in my mouth. I had to Google the office to see what doctor I saw in order to match his face with his name. I called my general dentist and I hope that they stop referring to this office because that was terrible. I'm sure glad I didn't pay for the $150 scan when the plan either way was going to be let's just wait for it to get worse because we really can't do anything right now. What a joke.

Highly recommend Dr. Michel and his team! They were able to get me in right away and perform the root canal. The process was quick and painless and Dr. Michel went over all my concerns and answered all my questions.

Getting my first root canal I could not have been more terrified. Dr. Allen made the experience so easy and painless. His bedside manner is spectacular and he walked me through the whole process and that put my mind at ease. Hopefully I won't ever have to get a root canal again but if I do I will definitely be going back to Dr. Allen. The front desk staff and the nurses were phenomenal as well! I highly recommend this place to anyone!

Hands down best root canal experience I have ever had. Dr. Remmers was gentle and I literally felt no pain from numbing injection to finish! The staff is excellent as well and they truly care about the patient's experience before, during and after treatment. I highly recommend Southlake Endodontics. Thank you Dr. Remmers and staff!

Very pleased with Dr Allen. He is very thorough at diagnosing an issue that another Endodontist could not find. I had a root canal with no pain and cold sensitivity is completely gone. He is also very nice and highly knowledgeable. I recommend to everyone. Thank you

I couldn't have had a better experience at this office, and that is saying a lot considering I had a root canal. I ended up needing a root canal just a couple of days before Thanksgiving. I didn't think there was any way I would be able to get this done in time for a pain-free holiday, but that is exactly what happened. When Dr. Allen first came into the room and confirmed that I would need a root canal, he said he would be able to get it done right away. I was very surprised since it was already the end of their work day. I I didn't detect one ounce of irritation or rush from him, Ashley, or his assistant Rachel as they stayed nearly 2 hours past closing to care for me. Dr. Allen has fantastic bedside manner, and is extremely calming and responsive to even the slightest indication of discomfort. I felt so relaxed and comfortable during the procedure as Dr. Allen and Rachel took care to explain everything to me and frequently checked in to make sure I was not feeling any pain. My root canal was by far the most painless procedure I have ever experienced. Highly recommend!

I came in from out of state for the Thanksgiving holiday. My tooth that I had a root canal on in 2017 was in excruciating pain. After a sleepless night, I was lucky to get into a dentist who saw a problem, but he could not fix it and sent me to Southlake Endodontics. Dr. Remmers got me in that afternoon. He walked me through 3 options. At that point, I had been in pain for more than 20 hours and I wanted it fixed. Dr. Remmers and his staff, drilled through the old crown, found a fourth root and cleaned out the remainder of the 3rd from 2 years before. After my previous root canal, I swore I would never do another while awake. This time, I had nitrous oxide. They also had music over noise canceling headphones. Before the procedure, Dr. Remmers warned me I would be in worse pain for two days. I have had next to no pain! I could not be happier with my results. I would not have a root canal at a general dentist ever again. Specialists have more expertise and better equipment. Dr. Remmers is the best.

Dr. Allen did a fantastic job on my root canal. I had never had a root canal done before. Wasn't sure what to expect. Friends have told me horror stories about their experiences with root canals at other clinics. This was not the case at Southlake Endodontics. My root canal was completely pain free. Not one bit of discomfort throughout the ordeal. I was injected with local anesthetics and felt a minor pinch, but that was it. I highly recommend Southlake Endodontics. The team is very friendly and knowledgeable. The next day I woke up without any pain or discomfort from the root canal. They really took care of me and provided me with helpful information about the next steps after my procedure. I also received a follow up call the day after just to check on me. Overall an A+ in my book.

I was referred to this office for dental work. I provided them with my insurance information, and set up an appointment. They called me multiple times to get me to come in earlier than my set time, but not for anything else. After my dental work was completed, I was told I owed over $1000! I told them I provided my insurance information already, and they told me they did not take my insurance. NOTHING was mentioned until after the procedure about not taking my insurance!! They then told me the full amount was due right then. There was no apology, they just said they would talk to the person that set the appointment. I am infuriated with how they handled this and would not suggest using them. WHY WOULD YOU TAKE MY INSURANCE INFO AND NEVER MENTION TO ME THAT YOU DO NOT TAKE IT???? They screwed up but got their money, that's all that apparently mattered!
