Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. Today, I went to get my teeth cleaned and checked. They have been my dentist for five years. Crystal and Jenn at the front are always great and nice to work with. The Dr. explained everything. Any decisions were made by both of us, he actually listens. Another great thing is appointments start when they are supposed to.

Good staff. Seemed very busy though. They did their best even though it seemed like they were short staffed and seemed a little stressed out, they all maintained a smile on their faces.

I came in for a second opinion about my teeth and was very satisfied with the experience. The office was cleaned. The check in process was easy and fast. Plus the staff is friendly and was helpful with the paper work. Dr. Lam is straightforward and honest about the work my teeth needs. She educated and firmly emphasized the importance of taking good care of teeth to prevent future treatment and cost. Overall I am very happy with the service, so if you are looking for an honest Dentist with great knowledge and experienced plus friendly staff, then Southglenn Modern Dentistry is the place!!!

I have been a regular patient at this office for 5 years and when the new owner arrived all dimensions of service have evaporated. Changes appointment at last minute, when I did show up NO ONE was at the front desk with another patient waiting as well and 2 phones ringing non-stop and obviously ignored. When I expressed my concerns the "owner" and office manager wanted to argue and took no responsibility for the poor service and aggressively accused me as the one who had unrealistic expectations. It has become clear to me that they are focused on add-ons and creating anxiety for unnecessary procedures not patient centric care - lost all trust in this practice.

The office looked clean and smelled refreshing. The staffs were friendly, greeted with a smile. Checking in process was easy and quick. I came in for a crown replacement, yet I received an unforeseen cavity lying underneath; however, everything was done in a timely manner. Dr. Lam is quick, efficient, and very professional. She took the time to educated me about my teeth and hygiene throughout the treatment session. Dr. Lam was conscientious while treating my teeth, she paused at times to make sure that I was comfortable and was not in any pain. The entire treatment session went well. Furthermore, the check out process was very clear and thorough; Crystal showed and explained all the fees that were serviced precisely. Looking for exceptional dental work, I highly recommend Southglenn Modern Dentistry, ask for Dr. Lam!

I have been a patient for 11 years. Always a great, friendly, quality and caring experience from the front desk, the dental assistants and Dr. Kim. My treatments have included regular cleanings, gum treatment (okay not so fun-surgery) but results achieved! Same day crown replacements are the best! Should you not have dental insurance they have their own SmileGeneration plan. I strongly encourage you to try Southglenn Modern Dentistry

Please read the reviews for this dentist below. I am among the people who got up and left. The walls were sprayed with fluids of different colors, the exam chair and x-ray room chairs were torn - the whole place was dirty. They tried to sell me unnecessary "deep cleaning" BS (when the office manager is doing the sell and is totally not surprised when you get up and leave, it is a bad sign). Go elsewhere.

There was absolutely no contact that made me feel as if I was a human being except for the x-ray technician. The x-ray technician was lovely and actually treated me like a human being. The receptionist just shoved an iPad in my face and told me to fill out all the questions which I had mostly done online prior to the appointment. She really had no clue about human relations. The doctor who seems to be very qualified and would probably do an excellent job at repairing my teeth had very little or no human contact training or ability. She barely looked me in the eyes and treated me as if I was a cadaver sitting in the chair. The gentleman who tried to sell me the insanely expensive diagnosis didn't even have clue as to what the immediate needs and try to sell me on everything. No one addressed my initial and immediate pain which is the reason I went there in the first place. The treatment was excessively overpriced. Considering I was treated as nothing more than a cadaver or a robot or an ATM machine for their practice I will never go back.
