Dr.Sorial attended The University of Toronto for his undergraduate studies. He went on to attend the University of Michigan School of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. He then completed a General Practice Residency at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago Illinois.
Dr. Sorial is a board certified general dentist with licensure in the State of Michigan, Illinois, Florida and in the Province of Ontario. He is certified in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
With a passion for implant dentistry, Dr. Sorial completed his surgical and prosthetic fellowship with the Misch International Implant Institute and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists(ICOI).
Dr. Sorial has completed the Faculty for Orthodontic Research and Continuing Education Advanced Post Graduated Program for general dentists. He also is Invisalign Certified.In addition, Dr. Sorial has completed a two year Orthodontic Seminar Series for General Dentists with Progressive Orthodontics.
Additionally Dr Sorial is a member of the Spear Study club which involves small peer groups who meet locally to collaborate on actual cases to improve clinical expertise. Members also travel yearly to the Spear campus in Scottsdale, AZ for group Continuing education.
Dr. Sorial is a proud member of the Crown Council,a prestigious alliance of leading-edge dentists throughout the world, who are strongly committed to promoting oral health, fighting oral cancer and serving their community through charitable work. For the past five years Dr. Sorial has been a leader in the Smiles for Life foundation. This is a charitable organization through the Crown Council, which allows dentists in the United States and Canada to offer teeth whitening in their community at a reduced rate, and donate all the proceeds to a charitable organization.
In April 2010 and 2013, Dr. Sorial was awarded with Southgate Salute to Business Excellence, recognizing his commitment to the community. He is committed to exploring new innovations in the field of dentistry and providing his patients with optimal dental care.
In February 2015, Dr. Sorial was awarded the 2015 Community Engagement award by Mayor Joseph G Kuspa. This award demonstrated a commitment to improving the community through community engagement efforts.

After graduating from Gabriel Richard High School in Riverview, Dr. Fanti received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and Psychology from the University of Michigan. She attended Dental School at the University of Detroit Mercy where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Prior to becoming a dentist, Dr. Fanti worked as a dental assistant and has over 30 years of dental experience.
Upon completion of her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, Dr. Fanti has been practicing dentistry as an associate Dentist mainly in the downriver area. She is experienced in endodontics, pediatrics, prosthodontics, periodontics, treatments for sleep apnea, and restorative dentistry. Dr. Fanti is also certified in Invisalign orthodontics, Lumineer restorations, and BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED). She is very patient centered dentist and is very ethical and honest and will treat you as if you were one of her family members.
Dr. Fanti is a proud member of various dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Michigan Dental Association, Detroit District Dental Society, and Delta Sigma Delta Dental Fraternity. She is very dedicated to the community. Together with the Southgate Dental Group, Dr. Fanti participates in the Smiles For Life foundation, which allows dentists to offer teeth whitening in their community at a reduced rate while donating all the proceeds to a charitable organization.

Dr. Fanti has lived in Southgate for years and now resides in Gibraltar with her husband and two children. She is a parish member at St. Pius X Church and enjoys gardening, cooking, eating, and spending time with family and friends.

Horrible new patient experience. This was my first time changing from my old dental office to a new one and anticipated a good experience based on a trustworthy referral and the google reviews. I was told that I would be doing new patient intake along with a cleaning. One of the dental assistants was clearly new. She kept repeating x-rays and she ended up having to go grab another employee to help her. As someone who has extensive knowledge and a degree in radiology this was totally unacceptable practice of ALARA. I was in this office for two hours and never once received my cleaning and they told me I had three cavities and I can just get my cleaning at the time of my NEXT appointment. Mind you, when I went to check out they were booked up for two months. The hygienist also told me that "everything looked good and I would probably just need a cleaning" that day. After getting an extensive second opinion, I was told that there are no cavities. I would've underwent 3 cavity fills for no reason at the expense of what my insurance would or wouldn't of covered. I refuse to be a returning patient to a facility that does not value a patients time or their exposure to radiation.

I highly recommend this Dentist! Even referred them to my family. They are always so nice. Dr Fanti filled a cavity for me (a front tooth!) and I couldn't believe how quick and gentle they were. I did not feel a thing and it looks great!!

Dr. Sorial does great work and takes extra measures to make sure that you are happy with whatever you have done. He is very careful in his work and very compassionate and I could not ask for a better dentist and I highly recommend him. His staff is just incredibly wonderful. I am hearing impaired and they always remove their mask without me having to ask and that just makes my day.

I had a bicycle accident and chipped my teeth pretty bad this summer. I worked with Dr. Sorial on my case and had Veneers installed for my front 10 teeth. The Shannon and Dr. Social made the procedure comfortable with lots of help. They look and feel so natural I couldn't ask for more. Special thanks to Shannon for guiding me through the process with professionalism and compassion.

Dr. Fonti noticed a small infection and sent me to Endodontics PC. Dr De Carolis did a root canal therapy and saved my tooth No pain whatsoever. I cant praise them enough.

I have been a patient at Southgate Dental for several years. This is simply the best place to go for all of your dental needs. Drs. Sorial and Fanti are very professional, kind and caring. The dental hygienist I see is Linda. She is THE BEST. Linda takes her time, listens to your concerns and does a fantastic job of cleaning your teeth.
