Using advanced technology and thorough treatment plans, Dr. Robert Lesh, and our staff look forward to helping you and your family achieve optimal oral health.
Dr. Lesh graduated from the University of Florida and has been practicing general dentistry since 1999. He has been practicing in The Villages since 2009. He loves the variety that general dentistry offers and meeting different people.
Staying on top of the latest trends is important to Dr. Lesh. It helps me stay up to date on the latest technology and treatment options. He has gone on to complete the core curriculum from Dawson Academy. He is a member of several study clubs such as ITI (International Team for Implantology), Strauman (an association of dental professionals) and is also a member of the Bloomberg Study club.
Our dental hygienists are licensed professionals with the dental association. They work alongside Dr. Lesh to not only clean teeth, but help with preventative care and education to promote good oral health. They will help assess your needs and perform procedures such as periodontal charting, periodontal debridement (scaling and root planning), prophylaxis (cleaning) for patients with periodontal disease. They are also able to take radiographs, dental sealants and administer fluoride as well as provide patient specific oral hygiene instruction.
Kathy has been actively licensed in the state of Florida for 31 years and graduated from St. Petersburg College with an Associate in Science degree in Dental Hygiene in 1984. In addition to monthly dental hygiene meetings and annual symposiums in both Florida and Georgia she attends, she also has special advanced training in the following: Advanced Microsonics in Periodontal Therapy University of Florida-RootPlanning Instrumentation- Dr. Sam Low; Sleep Apnea and Appliance Therapy training; JP Evolutionary Dental Hygiene; LVI Team training in Occlusion and Neuromuscular Dentistry Pride Institute Dental Hygiene team training; Nitrous Oxide Monitoring Certification; Expanded Functions Certification;
She works to stay current with new trends in Dental Hygiene and strives to provide our patients with the best care, by treating the patient as a whole person. Kathy is also a member of Member of American Dental Hygiene Association, Florida Dental Hygiene Association, Secretary of North Central Florida Dental Hygiene Association and she volunteers at Dentistry From the Heart.
In her spare time, Kathy enjoys riding her horse, traveling with her husband and spending time with her family. She loves the Miami Dolphins and Tampa Bay Rays, and spending time outside enjoying our sunny Florida weather.
