A Florida native and UCF alumni, Dr. Ring has seen the City Beautiful grow to what it is today. In 2012, she obtained her doctorate of Dental Medicine at Nova Southeastern University and went on to complete an extensive residency at the Orlando Veterans Affairs Hospital.
After 4 years in Fort Bragg, NC, Dr. Ring returned to Orlando where she remains active in the military community. She is a life-long advocate for Vietnam veterans and a proud supporter for wounded war heroes.

Highly experienced, very professional, and knowledgeable! I highly recommend Southern Style Dental to anyone. Barbra and the staff did an amazing job after another dentist messed up on a filling years ago, which then became a root canal procedure. The root canal was quick and painless and I've experienced no tooth pain since!

I had the best experience the staff and the doctor were just incredible...I felt so relaxed after talking with them and they are very laid back had alot of laughs...the office is absolutely gorgeous...would very much recommend this place

The Dentist was very empathetic and sympathetic to my concerns about my Tmj pain.She even gave me a soothing motherly jaw massage to ease my pain. I wish I could make her my permanent dentist!!

I am a Veteran and My teeth are in bad shape now .This has tremendously disrupted my personal life and created severe hardship in many ways.This dentistry did tell me that this would be approved for service connection. They even called me later at 530 pm same day as my CP exam that night saying that this would be approved . The VA denied my claim based on what this dentist said in there report that it was not caused by service .The Military destroyed my Teeth for 4 straight years..I have 9 pages of dental records in my C file of work they did.And all the teeth the worked on fell out or broke off. Meaning I will never date again and my eating ability has dwindled to hardly any food.I cannot chew food my teeth ache and people are nasty towards me because of my missing teeth.As a woman this has caused me great anxiety and depression.This dentist lied to me saying They would approve my claim and that this was service connected but my denial letter flat out states the dental examiner found no connection to service at all .I went in at 17 years of age and by 22 my teeth were destroyed from bad military dental .This dentist told the VA in her reporting mine was preexisting and was less than likely caused by military service. I was denied service connected disability .TMJ denied ,bruxism denied, loss of teeth they worked on denied.So I will walk around with few teeth and constant jokes made about my looks. Very upset that Veterans go to these cp exams drive for hours to be denied based on what a dentist or Dr says in their report.We served our country had lots done to us yet we spend the rest of our lives hurting.Most of us end up toothless and treated horribly because we served our country.Nothing like being lied to and denied help!!! If you were my advocate you would have not lied to me and said that this claim was going to be approved and that it was service connected. My denial letter states what this dentist said and that is was less than likely caused or aggravated by military service and then you added even more to it by saying it was preexisting on my bite causing my teeth to Crack.You went out of your way because I am a woman who served to make sure my entire claim was denied.I read what you wrote complete opposite of what was said to me while I was in your presence. You don't have veterans backs yet you bugged me for a good review before I knew what you wrote.I see why you put down about appealing the decisions because your denying veterans dental care from the VA with your statements.

Hands down the best dentist I have ever been to. They spend the necessary time to thoroughly evaluate, answer questions, and work with me to improve my smile. They will be my primary dentist for as long as I am living in Oviedo! Look no further because It will be hard to find another office like this!

No one enjoys going to the dentist, but this place certainly is the exception. My mom had severe head/jaw pain which had us spending months trying to figure out. We went from specialists to specialists. When someone mentioned that we should see Dr. Ring, we thought we'd give it a try. Turns out, my mom has several chronic pathologies that not only involved her teeth, but the joint and musculature imbalance as well. Dr. Ring is truly a gem at her field and her staff is second to none, the most caring and supportive we've encountered from any dental offices. Look no further if you are needing help with a competent doctor and awseome staff.

Amazing! Went in extremely nervous. They made me feel so calm and welcomed. I'm 9 months pregnant and they even took the time out of their day to call my OB doctor to make sure everything was safe for me and my baby. Quick and easy. Extremely affordable! So nice, homey and comfortable. I can't say enough about this place. I'll forever refer Southern Style Dental to all my friends and family! Thank y'all again SO much!
