For more than a decade, Dr. Moreland has shared her dental skill with patients throughout Texas. She is proud to serve families in Allen, TX at Southern Star Dental where she warmly welcomes patients of all ages creating a dental home. Dr. Moreland completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Texas in Austin, and earned her doctor of dental studies at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She went on to complete her general practice residency at the VA hospital in Gainesville, FL.

Throughout her dental education, Dr. Moreland received numerous awards including the prestigious Pierre Fuchard Academy Foundation Award during dental school. She also has certification in level 1 oral conscious sedation and nitrous oxide administration. Dr. Moreland is licensed to provide dental services in the state of Texas by the Western Regional Examination Board. As a well-respected member of the dental community, Dr. Moreland maintains affiliation with the American Dental Association, the State of Texas Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dedicated to supporting her local and global communities, Dr. Moreland volunteers with Dentists Who Care, Mexico Border Mission Trips, and in the fight against human trafficking through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and New Friends New Life. A native of Pearland, TX, Dr. Moreland is happily married to Colby, and they have two wonderful kids, Cade who enjoys soccer, basketball, and hunting, and Claire who participates in dance and gymnastics. Dr. Moreland also enjoys CrossFit, running, cycling, surfing, hiking, water sports, travelling, watching football, reading, and gardening.

Brooke graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Texas Woman's University in 2012. She currently serves as a member of the American Dental Hygienists' Association, President of the TWU DH Alumni Chapter and a member of the TWU DH Professional Advisory Committee. She enjoys being a newlywed to her wonderful husband, Preston and together they like to travel, watch movies, and go for walks. She loves to help patients feel comfortable at our office and is a big cheerleader for achieving teeth-tastic oral health!

Lindsey graduated from Dallas Dental Assisting school in 2015 and has assisted with a variety of dental procedures from the all-on-four to periodontal surgeries, as well as simple procedures. She hopes to go on to dental hygiene school, to better serve her patients and community. When shes not at the office you can find her at the dog park playing with her dog and spending time with family.

Chanin is a long time Allen/Lucas resident. Having attended Lovejoy Elementary and graduating from Allen High School in 1987, she and her husband, Chris (AHS graduate of 1986), knew they wanted to raise their 3 children in the same community that they called home. They are still active members of FBC Allen where they were both raised and work in the Student Ministry. Chris and Chanin also share ownership in a local family business, Kelly Family Farms which ties them to the community as well. In her spare time, Chanin still enjoys being a Guest Educator in Lovejoy ISD where she previously worked before joining the Southern Star Dental team. She hopes that she can be small part of making each patient's experience a little brighter at SSD.

Emily graduated at the Dallas Dental Assisting School of Plano in 2021 and is a registered Dental Assistant. She is striving to one day become a Dental Hygienist. While growing up, dental preventative care in her household was not a priority. Therefore, she is determined to further her education to bring awareness about dental health to patients and care for them. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her family. They like to go on nature walks and runs along some of the best parks in Plano. At SSD she hopes to bring patients ease as they come in for a visit.
