Dr. Green grew up in Turbeville, SC. He went to college at Clemson University and later transferred to the College of Charleston where he received a BS in Chemistry. He attended the Medical University of South Carolina for dental school and graduated in 2000. Dr. Green then furthered his education in a postgraduate residency in Periodontology at the University of Tennessee. He practiced as a Periodontist in Greenville, SC for three years until he decided to pursue a career in Orthodontics. He was accepted in the first class at the Medical University of South Carolina postgraduate program in Orofacial Orthopedics and Orthodontics. He graduated in 2009 and started his practice in Boiling Springs, SC. Dr. Green is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at MUSC in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics.

Dr. Green is a member of the ADA, AAO (American Academy of Orthodontics), SCAO (South Carolina Association of Orthodontics), SAO (Southern Academy of Orthodontics), Spartanburg County Dental Society, and SCDA (South Carolina Dental Association, Piedmont District).

Sheryl is a native of Chesnee, SC. She is a graduate of Spartanburg Community College with an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant degree. She has worked in orthodontics since college graduation and absolutely loves what she does. In her free time she loves spending time with her family and friends. She and her husband, Chuck have two girls, Bridget and Monica that has completely stolen their hearts. Sheryl loves riding bicycles on nature trails and just being outdoors! Sheryl says that living for God is the most important thing to her. She loves to come to work and be able to have fun with the patients, as well as help create beautiful smiles for them.

Lindsay was born and raised in Boiling Springs. She graduated from Boiling Springs High School in 2012. She continued her education at Spartanburg Community College and graduated with her Associates in Expanded Function Dental Assistant in 2017. On the weekends, Lindsay loves to spend time with her husband Kyle at the lake and attend the Clemson football games. Lindsay looks forward to seeing how happy patients are when they see there smile for the first time after braces.

Kim is a native of Cowpens, SC. She is a graduate of Spartanburg Community College and has worked in the dental field for 30 years. She began working in orthodontics in 2006 and loves to see her patients smile transformations. She and her husband, Shane, have been married for 30 years and have recently been blessed with their first grandchild, Norah. When she isnt at work, Kim can be found spending precious time with her family and usually with a cup of coffee in hand. Her faith in Christ is the foundation of everything else in her life and she loves her church, where her husband is the pastor. Kim loves her dog Jake, Christmastime, and worship music. Her favorite aspect of her job is being able to connect with patients and watch their confidence grow.

Margaret is from Pauline, SC. She graduated from Dorman High School in 2014. She is a graduate of Spartanburg Community College with an Expanded Duty Dental Assisting Degree. In her free time, Margaret enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys cheering on the Buckeyes and playing with her two dogs. Margaret has been with Southern Smiles since October 2018 and says her favorite part of work is being able to see how excited patients get as they make progress with their orthodontic treatment.

Joni is a native of Chesnee, SC and has been working as a certified Orthodontic Assistant since 2016. Her favorite thing is seeing the patients reactions once they have their braces removed at the end of treatment. Before orthodontics, she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Spartanburg Regional. Joni is a member of View Church and when she is not at work she is spending time with her husband, Brandon, and two daughters, Zoey and Braleigh. She says she really enjoys working at Southern Smiles because she loves seeing patients bond and joke with Dr. Green.

Lisbeth is from Spartanburg, SC. She graduated from Boiling Springs High School in 2017 and has since graduated from Spartanburg Community College with an Expanded Duty Dental Assisting Degree. Lisbeth is bilingual, assisting both our English-speaking and Spanish-speaking patients! In her free time, she loves spending time with her family and friends. Lisbeth really enjoys working at Southern Smiles because she loves seeing patients happy with their progress.

Keri was born and raised in Gaffney, SC. She graduated from Gaffney high school in 2015, then soon after obtained her certification in dental assisting. Keri has been working in the dental field since 2017 and her favorite thing is seeing the smiles on everyones face when they have completed treatment. In her spare time, you can find Keri camping, mountain biking or hiking with her husband, Kenneth. She is always looking for her next adventure. When Keri is not outside, she enjoys shopping, getting brunch with friends and indoor cycling. Keri is excited to be a part of Southern Smiles orthodontics and looks forward to meeting new patients every day.

Karen is from Spartanburg, SC. She attended Polk County High School and is a graduate of Appalachian State University. Karen is an avid coffee drinker and loves watching movies in her free time. When she isnt at work, she loves spending time with her husband and spunky cockapoo Penelope. Karens favorite part about working at Southern Smiles Orthodontics is building lasting relationships with patients and their families.

Ansleigh is from Spartanburg, SC. She graduated high school from Lighthouse Christian Academy in Hendersonville, TN. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. Ansleigh lovers her job, and her favorite part of her job is seeing the patients so excited about how far they have come in their orthodontic progress.

Luba is from Spartanburg, SC. She graduated Spartanburg Community College with an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant Degree. She is Trilingual, speaking Russian, Ukrainian, and English. In her free time she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and friends. What Luba loves most about orthodontics is the face pace which makes it really fun and exciting to learn something new every day.

Morgan is from Chesnee, SC. She graduated from Chesnee High School in 2017. She graduated from Spartanburg Community College with an Expanded Duty Dental Assisting Degree and joined the Southern Smiles team in summer 2020. Morgan says the reason why she became an orthodontic dental assistant is to help others feel confident in their smile, and show them that they have a reason to smile! In Morgans free time she enjoys riding her horse Dolly, singing and playing different instruments, but most of all serving the Lord. Morgan says she wouldnt be where she is today without him, and hopes to be a light to everyone around her!

Anna is a North Carolina native. She pursued her love for dental at Spartanburg Community College and graduated with an Expanded Duty Dental Assisting Degree. In her free time you will find her spending it with her husband, Justin, and two boys, Eli and Caden. Anna enjoys working at Southern Smiles because she loves how patients start to radiate with confidence towards the end of their treatment.

Susan is from Washington, DC. She pursued her love for dental at Prince Georges Community College and graduated with an Expanded Duty Dental Assisting Degree. She has 42 years of experience in Orthodontics and TMJ. In her free time you will find her working in her garden and flowers. She attends Hope church in Spartanburg and absolutely loves it. She loves seeing the before and after look from Orthodontic treatment with each patient.
