Dr. Sarah G. Clark was born in Houston, Texas and raised inParis, Texas where she spent the majority of her childhood.From childhood gymnastics to college athletics, Dr. Clark has always been in love with sports. Sarah started gymnastics at the age of 3 and by the age of 14 had earned a spot on the USA Gymnastics Trampoline and Tumbling Team. She was a USA team member from 2007-2010 as a senior elite athleteand was recognized by the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) as a world class athlete in 2009.
As a member of the USA team, Dr. Clark received 3 National Championship titles, 3 International Titles, 6 International Medals, and 10 International top 10 finishes. Her proudest achievement took place in St. Petersburg, Russia where she and her USA teammates took third in the 2009 Trampoline & Tumbling World Championships on double-mini trampoline. After high-school, Dr. Clark continued her athletic career at the University of Texas in Austin as a Division I diver where she and her teammates earned the title of Big 12 champions in 2011. While at the University of Texas, Dr. Clark obtained her bachelor's degree in Chemistrygraduating Summa Cum Laudein 2014 with highest honors.
She began her dental career in 2015 at Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas, where she also met her husband, Dr. Steven Clark. In honor of both academic and clinical achievement in the field of dentistry,Sarah was inducted into both the Odontological Honor Society and Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Honor Society. She graduated with honors from Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry in 2019.
Upon graduation from dental school, Sarah and her husband, Dr. Steven Clark, a nativeof Conway, Arkansas, moved back to Conway to pursue their careers in dentistry. The couple met in their first week of dental school and were married in Hot Springs, Arkansas in 2018. The two love spendingtime with family and friends, working togetheron woodworking projects, and especially enjoy their time together outdoors:camping, hunting, and fishing.

This led me to pursue a career in general dentistrywhere I can implement each interest into everyday practice. My wife had a broken tooth the morning of an ice storm in the area. I voicemailed our regular dentist's office to try and get in as soon as possible. When we got no immediate response, I started hunting around to find someone open. A google search resulted in a few offices with excellent reviews, so I started at the top. The first resulted in a voice mail and I noticed that office closed 4 days per week on an ordinary week, let alone a week riddled with weather. I moved on to Southern Smiles and fully expected a voice mail or answering service. 4th ring, Trisha picked up. I explained the problem and she informed me that everyone she knew of was closed except for oral surgery, which I didnt need because we were hoping to save the tooth. She took note of our issue and said she would attempt to find a solution and call me back. I got a call from our regular dentist's office manager stating that someone had contacted our dentist's personal line, prompting the dentist to contact her to see what the problem was. I informed her of the problem and she assured me that there wasn't much that could be done today as their offices were closed due to weather. She began a discussion regarding the possibility of prescribing antibiotics and I told her I was exploring other options to get our problem addressed quicker. I informed her that if I could not, I would call her back. I then got a call back from Trisha after Dr Clark reviewed the info. She notified me that considering the emergent nature of the tooth and the fact we were trying to save it, they would come in and do all they could if we could make it to the office. I was appreciative and we all braved the elements to meet at the office. The office is very modern with welcoming ammenities and atmosphere. My wife has a lot of anxiety about dentistry and a long history of poor dental experiences that contribute to that fear. Many dentists are pressed for time and will walk in and go to work as quickly as they can. Dr Clark took her time and made sure my wife was comfortable and properly anestetized prior to beginning any work. She and Trisha showed a tremendous amount of care and empathy for someone who they had never met and took great consideration for her anxiety. Nitrous gas was applied and plenty of proper time for it to take affect as well as plenty of time for novacaine to be implemented and take effect in order to ensure a favorable working environment for all involved. She set my wife's mind at ease and assured her that no one would proceed with any work if she was not comfortable. The tooth was assessed, cleared of all decay, and built up in preparation for a crown. Time was allotted to ensure the prior root canal was not at risk and a temporary crown was placed. Once the root canal is assuredly not in jeopardy, a permanent crown will be ordered for a successful result. The cost was the same as any prior experience we had anywhere else considering the work done and a value in my opinion considering they worked with her for almost 4 hours. We are greatly appreciative of our experience with Dr Clark and her staff and look forward to continuing a life long relationship with them as our dental professionals. If anyone is searching for a recommendation, this is your new dentist!

Beautiful office. Very modern, clean, and high tech. Dr. Clark and Tricia are professional and kind. I felt safe in their hands. And the TV on the ceiling is a wonderful perk.
