I saw Dr. Eric Ferrara to get 5 implants and he worked so quickly and smoothly it was unbelievable. Extremely pleased. Edit: While I am still leaving up my review, the bad news is-- migraines which I never experienced before this surgery have been occurring periodically ever since that time. Remember that no surgery is without risks.

Dr. Ferrara was great, they've pulled two of my molars and both times it was a breeze. If teeth grew back I'd use them to pull all of mine.

I've been to several dentists and oral surgeons through the years and Dr. Ferrara ranks the best by far in my personal experience. I used him several years ago and had a problem most recently and chose to take the extra drive from Macon to his offices in Griffin and Fayetteville just for his services. By far, Dr. Ferrara and his staffs professionalism, competency as well as his pricing cannot compare to others. It's definitely worth the drive. You will save a lot of money, as well as receiving the best care and expertise. I would recommend him to anyone. You will never regret using Dr. Ferrara!

The staff was very professional and nice, and ne feel comfortable. The Dr. was very professional and made me feel very comfortable and the procedure was very quick and painless. I would recommend this dental office for all oral surgeon needs.

Everyone was kind and professional. I had a crown fall out and it was unable to be reattached so I had to come here for the root removal. The removal itself was fairly quick and simple with minimal discomfort the following day.

WARNING! DO NOT GO HERE! I wouldn't even give them 1 star! I went in for a consultation for an implant in June, they had me watch a video and the doctor came in, barely looked in my mouth, did not explain things at all that were specific to my issues and started naming all kinds of things I would have to have in order to get an implant. When I asked questions, he was short with me and did not fully make me feel like I was ready for a big decision. I went to the front desk asking all kinds of questions and that lady was a little more helpful since she experienced an implant. He named things such as a 3D X-ray, surgical guide, possible bone graph, and they wanted to charge an extreme amount for each thing and then tell me the actual implant will be half off (which was still very expensive at half off compared to other great oral surgeons)! Something didn't sit right me and I went for a second opinion at an oral surgeon in Atlanta (Drescher & Cohen, voted the best in Atlanta) and I was immediately blown away with the service, time, and care they took with me! He did a 3D ultrasound free of charge, actually looked at my mouth thoroughly, and personally explained things so well! I walked out and did not spend a penny for my consultation. I immediately scheduled to get my implant in, he did not have to use a surgical guide as this location stated so this made me aware that they are just trying to get customers in the door by saying they are giving half off implants but then charging for un needed things! The price I have paid at Drescher & Cohen is extremely less and the service is unbelievable! Fast forward to today, August 23rd, Southern Oral Surgery has sent me a bill for the consultation and for a panoramic radiograph. They literally did nothing when I was there but stick me in front of a video (definitely never took an xray) and at booking never mentioned that the consultation would cost! I am livid! DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY TO WASTE AND ALWAYS GET A SECOND OPINION! As I'm a mother of 3 who works very hard and trying to keep up with my dental issues, it's heartbreaking to know there are doctors out there that could do this to anyone at all!

I appreciate the professionalism of the team and Doc! They surely have a a system that works and super quick about everything. From scheduling the appointment to the surgery. I had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted and when I tell you I was so nervous, the team knew it from the beginning and was super sweet about everything. Ok surgery day, I arrived at 8:50am with my surgery starting at 9am. I was called to the back at 8:55am and next thing you know I was knocked out then home by 10:45 with a 40 minute drive home. Be sure to let whom ever will drive you eats before they arrive because they can not leave once you are under anesthesia. One thing I really wish happened was to have more numbing on the ride home, water, and pain medication because I felt everything after 10-15 minutes of riding home. Other than that my recovery hasn't been too bad once I was able to drink water and take a pain pill prescribed. I actually have very little swelling because of using the ice on and off every 20 minutes and every 45 minutes I would switch the gauzes out and drink more water not too cold, but it sooth the gums. If I need any additional oral surgeries I would surely come back because they are efficient and friendly. Thanks everyone for the hard work and understanding of a scary experience.

I was referred to Dr. Ferrara by my dentist. I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed at the end of May 2022 and developed dry socket in the lower two extractions... when I tell you the Southern Oral Surgery team was a lifesaver?! They were flexible with my schedule and treated me PROMPTLY. I developed it Wednesday and was in for treatment Thursday morning. Laurie in particular made sure to follow up with me and my progress for a solid week just to make sure everything was healing properly. The ladies who work in the office are incredibly kind and professional and Dr. Ferrara knows his stuff! Would definitely recommend this surgeon and team to folks looking for a surgeon.

Absolutely had a great experience here. I got all four of my wisdom teeth pulled and my pain is minimal. I made sure I followed their directions and I am really pleased my experience went so well cause I was really nervous. This was my first surgery. Thank you everyone for making this great!

Absolutely the best treatment I've got anywhere, I just about an hour ago had 20+ teeth surgically removed and well I'm here on google so right after not in any pain,the surgery site looks so much better than I expected looks like teeth just slid out,and this was first time I've been put under and was scared but the nurses totally put me at ease and told jokes and not once was I asked if I was a drug user because of the shape of my teeth thank you Dr Ferrara and staff
