The staff is wonderful. I was a bit apprehensive about getting an implant but now so glad I did. It was completely painless. Highly recommend them for implants.

Took my daughter there they came across as very friendly, but during the procedure ( gum grafting) the numbness wore off & it was very painful for her. I was made to pay partly up front then had to "fight" them to get my money back, they cashed the insurance check but keep claiming that they never received it. I do Not recommend this place at all!!

I was recently told by my dentist that it was imperative that I see a periodontist due to my gum recession. After my appointment, I was referred to an office in Columbus, I will not name the office, but after my evaluation, I was shocked at how much it was going to cost me (out of pocket) to have tissue grafting. Armed with the information that I had, I started reaching out to periodontist offices in the area and the first to return my call was Southern Ohio Periodontics. I spoke with a lovely receptionist named Tasha who promptly scheduled me for the following Tuesday. I showed up to my appointment and was greeted by Tasha and was then introduced to Dr. Hamal. Dr. Hamal and Tasha immediately made me feel at ease, especially when it came to the examination. Following the examination, Tasha went over the different options and I decided to schedule the surgery for the following week. As nervous as I was, the surgery went off without a hitch and the pain was very limited. The best part was I saved some money and found an awesome periodontist. Thank you Dr. Hamal and Tasha for putting up with me and genuinely caring for my well-being! See you guys soon for my check-up.

Although the provider did a decent job on my dental work. If you are out of network know that you will be responsible for the full bill. I went there in need of a periodontist and like I said she did a good job, however I asked every question i could and let the front desk know that I was out of network. They said that they accepted out of network benefits when asked before the surgery...however after the surgery they charged me for the remainder of the amount ( balance bill ) that they insurance didn't cover.. the amount she said previously that they would not bill me for. My error, I didn't get it in writing. However know if you come to this office you better have in network benefits...otherwise you pay full price..Be cheaper to drive to columbus to in network, than get a surprise bill after the surgery. I will pay it off, However highly unhappy I wasn't told the truth from the beginning.
