This place apparently can't accommodate bigger people, so be warned. They also seem to have an issue if you aren't straight and cis. 0/10 stars is not enough to describe my displeasure.

Everyone was really sweet only issue I had was I have small vanes and nobody could get an IV I was on oxygen and gas for over 20 minutes and had two panic attacks because I was being stuck so much while on gas for so long at one point my eyes started closing I couldn't control it eventually the nurse started talking to me calming me down the entire time I was scared and crying I don't have bad feelings about this place or any staff/doctors/nurse because I had to fast food/drink and normally nurses struggle with my vanes even after drinking a ton of water so I can't hate but I personally didn't have the best experience overall my first appointment he was extremely nice and caring.

I am very pleased with my experience with Dr. Schoonmaker and his staff, they were great! I was nervous, but the staff was so friendly and they go above and beyond in keeping things safe, clean and disinfected during this Coronavirus pandemic, which really set my mind at ease. Dr. Schoonmaker has a way about him that just calms your anxiety about any fears you may have about having surgery. He listens, and he and his staff are happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have. The day of my surgery they were just as wonderful, and I am very pleased with the results.

I rate this place 10 stars!!! 5 is not enough. To say i was nervous was an understatement. I put having My wisdom teeth off for 5 years because of my fear of being put to sleep. The staff and doctor made this so easy for me! They were kind and caring and truly care about their patients. I would recommend this place to anyone! Especially people who have dental fear or fear of going under. Extremely pleased with my experience!

I came in yesterday to get some teeth taken out. I was nervous about being put to sleep and going through the procedure. The surgeon and his nurses where very nice and understanding. You could tell they cared! I recommend this place! Very friendly staff all the way around! If I could rate more then 5 stars I would!

This place is awesome! Although he doesn't like you to be dramatic or to move due to in his words cannot hit a moving target he does wonderful work and gets it done. Some on here might of had other issues with this place but I did not and will be goin back for another surgery soon as I heal....

I do not recommend this place. He was rude and acted like his time was better spent elsewhere. I had all my teeth removed. At one point he asked me if my novacaine was working or if I was just whimpering to be dramatic. Grunting and complaining under his breath as he removed some of the teeth that we're more difficult. Towards the end of the procedure when is was digging out a wisdom tooth I cried out a little and he told me we are almost done and he has given me all the local numbing he could and to suck it up. I blacked out from pain while on the table. I am a 35yr old man. I have been through 7 surgeries that took over a year to recover from. I'm no stranger to pain. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Do your homework. Look for a better "Dr".

I can't say enough good things about this practice.I have dental anxiety and was terrified to say the least.During the consult Dr.Schoonmaker was informative, professional and very kind. He answered my questions and prepared me for the next steps in treatment. Three days before my surgery his office called and moved my appointment time by a hour(the Dr. had a meeting)so I wouldn't have to sit and wait.I thought this was very thoughtful and showed my time is also valuable to them. The day of the surgery the staff was polite and friendly and wait time was quick and the surgery went flawlessly. They handled all my paperwork for work so I could focus on recovery. 5 Stars is not enough for the quality of care, kindness and respect I was shown. I will recommend this office to anyone needing treatment.

Only rated it one star because 0 stars is not an option. At the consultation he was nice, but mainly talked about my medication, in fact telling me that if my doctor would not prescribe me more of my medication for pain, to horde it back for after my surgery. The day I went in for the surgery he was very rude, he gave me a form consenting to emergency surgery if my sinus cavities were opened during surgery, and when I asked, because he HAD NEVER MENTIONED the possibility of this, HE WAS EXTREMELY RUDE, telling me that he talked to me about this and not offering to give me any other explanation. That's great, especially for someone with anxieties about the procedure anyway. We planned for me to be sedated during the surgery, however his staff directly misinformed me on prep for the procedure. I have a hard time having blood drawn, and due to wrong prep directions I was extremely dehydrated, and when he was trying to start an IV to sedate me, he only tried 3 times and then told me we were going to go on with the procedure without the sedation that was originally planned. When I said that I did not want to he became even more rude, what an attitude he had towards me. His assistant then proceeded to tell me that when I wanted to try again I could, NO THANK YOU!!! I'm good! I will go somewhere, with a dentist that is competent, UNLIKE THIS GUY.

Had my wisdom teeth extracted along with a canine tooth and 2 incisors. I was very nervous before surgery mainly over the IV. When I was in the procedure room the doc talked to me the whole time while the lady put my IV in they also gave me some laughing gas which was pretty awesome, I was so focused on how happy I was I didn't care about the needle! My after experience was well! I've heard most people complain about how bad wisdom teeth hurt after they are taken out. I was eating porkchops within the week, I barley had any pain the only medicine I used was my ibeprufen. It was just more of an uncomfortable feeling bc of the stitches and the food getting caught. My boyfriend was in so much pain when his wisdoms were taken out, along with my cousin. My experience was very different. I give 5 stars!! They did a great job!
