While studying at Texas A&M in College Station, Dr. Markle had the opportunity to visit with his dentist, who was also an Aggie. At that point in life, hed never really thought much about dentistry as a career and had assumed hed end up going into the medical field. However, after a few visits, he quickly realized that the artistic and engineering aspects of oral healthcare fit his personality perfectly and the shorter work week seemed appealing too! Today, he couldnt be more grateful to Dr. Randy White, who was instrumental in his final decision.
Dr. Markle pursued his dental doctorate at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. During that time, he had the amazing opportunity to work on an Indian reservation with the Indian Health Service in White Earth, MN! Following graduation, he also completed a General Practice Residency at the Houston VA Hospital.
Over the past decades, Dr. Markle has participated in hundreds of hours of continuing education through world-renowned organizations like Spear and the Dawson Academy enough to be recognized as a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry and an Associate Fellow in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He is also a member of the American College of Dentists, Southwest Academy of Restorative Dentistry, American Dental Association, and Texas Dental Association.
Cristi has lived in Tyler since 1998. She graduated from John Tyler High School in 2014 and began Tyler Junior College right after, she is currently a student at The University of Texas at Tyler. She joined our team in May of 2020 and has fallen in love with the daily relationships she builds with our patients and staff. Her favorite part of the job is that she is the first person of contact which allows her to bring a sense of peace to our patient's experience. In her spare time, Cristi enjoys walking her 2 corgis, traveling with her husband Anthony, reading and writing, and spending time with her family.
Born and raised in East Texas, Shelby attended the dental hygiene program at Tyler Junior College, graduating in May of 2015. She loves helping our patients achieve healthier, more beautiful smiles! In her spare time, she likes to hang out with loved ones and watch/play sports. She and her mom are always up for shopping and decorating together, but she also looks forward to lazy days at home with her four dogs.
Cherish is an East Texas native who grew up in Lindale, Tx. She graduated from the TJC Dental Hygiene program and later joined our wonderful team in 2017. She chose the profession of dental hygiene because of her passion for service and the opportunity to build long lasting relationships with patients while providing them with care that is gentle and thorough to make each visit an enjoyable experience. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Will and their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Cooper. They love to cook, travel and watch football with family and friends every weekend. Born and raised in Tyler, Sheri has worked in the dental field for over 12 years. She took a break to raise her daughter and now that Grace is grown she has come back to the career that brings her joy and happiness. She enjoys traveling, shopping, and spending time with her friends and family.
