Southern Oaks Dental Care is a family friendly dental office in Beaumont, Texas that serves general and cosmetic dental patients.

Joshua Seale, DDS was born and raised in the Jewel of the Forest. He first became interested in dentistry when he got his braces from Dr. Cammack, and he always wanted to come back to serve his hometown community.
After graduating from The University of Texas, he attended dental school at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program with the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System in Temple, Texas in 2007. Dr. Seale is dedicated to staying current in the latest research and techniques and is recognized as a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.

Multiple office visits I was required to wait up to 45 minutes past my appointment time with no communication from the office staff. This last visit was it. After I cancelled my appointment, then suddenly my room was ready and I could come back. They did promptly refund the money I had paid and the dentist telephoned me not long after I left. I explained to him that the front staff was neglectful in their duties. And it is completely unprofessional to leave a client/customer waiting for 45 minutes with no explanation. Let me add, I had a 9am appointment and was 5 minutes early. I will not return.

My son went in for a cleaning, needed some work and they worked him in to prevent another missed day if school. Dr. Akber was friendly, knowledgeable, and made my son feel comfortable. Staff was great at keeping me informed as well!

I had a toothache and had been putting off going to the dentist! I called on a Sunday and received a call back from the dentist within an hour and I was worked into the schedule first thing Monday morning. Staff was great! I love Southern Oaks Dental!

Absolutely an unusual occurrence in today's world!! I searched online for a dentist, read the reviews and decided on Southern Oaks. ~I called late afternoon and a LIVE person answered the phone on the 1st ring...unbelievable! ~She was pleasant, efficient and genuinely friendly and offered me an appt the very next morning bc they had a cancelation...the stars lined up! ~When I hung up, I had a text to register and complete paperwork online and it was so easy to sign on and navigate the app...unbelievable! ~I arrived the next morning and the whole vibe was "we are here for you". Greeted with a friendly smile and easy checkin! ~Didn't wait long at all and was roomed and Shauna was warm and inviting, did my intake and xrays with such ease...actually, communicated with me and kept me informed on wait for doctor. ~Doctor glides in with the same friendly vibe with a smile and very attentive to my issue. He actually listened and took the time to pinpoint and correct the issue with exceptional skill and competence. Southern Oaks is definitely a gem that has great customer service with highly skilled and competent care! Thanks for reminding me that as a patient and a consumer that I can get both in one place!

Excellent ... the amount of attention to detail in the reconstruction of my dentures is second to NONE !!! The entire staff are the most professional & caring people I've ever met in my whole life ... I owe a great debt to them all & Doc Steven Burdock is just one of the most amazing people anyone would be blessed to know.
