I moved Down to SC 1 1!2 years ago and had to find all new doctors. It's a tough job, because I needed many. Southern oak dental made my life a little easier. I found them to be friendly, courteous, accommodating, knowledgeable and efficient and I always was able to get a handicap parking pot.

Always clean, courteous, well organized, on time, call/text with reminders (if you want), friendly, efficient, and very good at what they do. Coming from a medicine background myself, being a veterinarian and also performing dental procedures on dogs and cats, I approve of this place 100% A +++ Gold medal. Thanks Dr. Frisk!

Twenty three years of going to a military dentist without a single issue, despite the stereotype about military docs and dentists being terrible. Retire and get my first procedure done with a civilian dentist and it's a disaster. They put a crown on and it causes nothing but pain for 2 weeks. Mind you, I was in zero pain and had zero issues when they recommended this crown to be put on. I go back and now I need a root canal to correct the new problem. They don't do root canals in house so I have to go somewhere else and pay for it myself even though it is due to their work. This all takes two months to complete, all the while I'm in pain. Then to top it all off, they call me to inform me I owe more money because they failed to get authorization from my insurance before doing the procedure. Because I wasn't having any issues before and the insurance denied the authorization, it leads me to belive they are pushing procedures simply to make money. So in all, I'm out almost $2,000 and two months of pain and agitation.

Dr Patel and her hygienist Taylor took all of my stress/worry out of going to the dentist after 4 years and major damage. Super grateful for their honesty, professionalism and warmth when explaining everything and making me feel so comfortable. Each person I interacted with was great and I'm excited to have found them!

I was going to Dr. Abel and liked them until they no longer accepted my insurance. Then I found Dr. Frisk with Southern Oak Dental in Bluffton. I definitely like her and her staff just as much - even better. Just had a crown done with them. I was very nervous about the whole procedure and I'm sure they could tell. They were very patient and caring through the whole procedure, and explained everything that was going on. It's probably been over 25 years since I had a crown done in Charlotte. I love that Dr. Frisk and her assistant both hum to whatever music is playing when they are working on your teeth. I can't say enough about them. I highly recommend Southern Oak Dental!

Have been going to Southern Oak Dental for about 2 years now. Dr. Frisk is a fabulous dentist and her staff is awesome! My hygienist, Robert, did an amazing job cleaning my teeth. If you are in need of a dentist in the Bluffton area, you can't go wrong with Southern Oak Dental.

Insurance company did not receive information/documentation requested from the billing department . Without notice, sent to Collections Agency for insignificant amount. This is after I responded with reference number, dates,etc...
