Our relationships with our patients and each other will be based on a foundation of trust and mutual respect.
Below is our New Patient Package that you will need to complete on your first visit. You can expedite matters by downloading the package, completing it at home and handing it to our staff when you arrive for your initial visit to our office.
Your first visit to our office is designed to get you better acquainted with all we offer as well as introduce you to our caring staff. On your first visit, we will review your medical and dental histories and evaluate your oral health. We will take digital x-rays of your teeth and explain to you whether or not you will require any dental treatment.

The dentist was very informative, professional and hilarious. Normally I am afraid to go to the dentist however I am glad I chose him to be my new dentist, he took his time and made me comfortable and I am very thankful for that!! I AM READY for my new smile

Very unreliable when it comes to scheduled appointments. I was cancelled twice just before my scheduled appointment after I had already arranged for child care. Normally I understand that things happen, but this last time it was because they had double booked themselves and decided my appointment was less important I guess. Really liked the hygienist, but we won't be returning to such an unreliable dentist.

These seem like nice people but cancelled my family appointments 3 times just minutes before we were supposed to show up. That's a total of 9 cancelled appointments. When they called me today to reschedule, I was soooo mad. That's 3 days I called out of work to do this. Again, nice people and I don't know what they going on but they are very unreliable. Anyone else having this issue or just me?

We had an amazing experience today with Dr. McCarty at Southern Maryland Family Dental Associates. Dr. McCarty was so wonderful with my three kids. I had some anxiety about my three-year-old's first visit, but she made him laugh and he felt so comfortable that when we got home he asked if he could go back and do it again! Everyone was so nice and welcoming and took all of the worry about a family trip to the dentist.
