Dentistry allows me to serve and care for the well-being of others in a way that I know really makes a difference. I am not only able to contribute to making brighter smiles but improving the quality of lives, as better oral health leads to greater overall bodily health for my patients.
My patients and their families make each day interesting. There are stories and anecdotes, and laughs. Real friendships form between my patients and myself, and there is always something to learn from each of them.
For me, it is great being part of a team and working together with others on a common mission. The patients here come first. The office is warm and inviting, but also fun. You can tell that people are happy to see us and their genuine smiles mean the world to us.
Dentistry is constantly changing and new products are always being introduced, so it is important to stay up-to-date on the latest information and technology. The continuing education courses that I participate in help me to provide our patients with excellent dental care and stimulate my professional development.
Being an active member of professional associations gives me countless opportunities to stay informed with regard to new treatment practices and recent scientific advances in dentistry. Through my memberships, I am able to access and share information with others at meetings, lectures, and seminars, all of which allows me to better serve and care for our patients.
When I'm not working, I enjoy spending my free time with my family. My husband Eric and I have a son, Mitchell and two daughters, Ella and Klara. We can often be found outside enjoying all the wonderful attractions Maine has to offer.

I help to maintain the financial stability of the office. You could say that I work behind the scenes, though Im also available to help with whatever questions our patients may have regarding billing, scheduling, and re-care. I love the interaction with patients over the past 38years Ive worked here. I have made so many long-lasting friendships. Its been a pleasure to see them come through the doors over the years. This office is my second home!
I have three grown children who have families of their own. I have seven grandchildren and I love them to pieces! I also enjoy boating, sailing, and traveling. Especially family vacations with all my children and grandchildren! Life doesn't get any better than that!
I primarily assist Dr. Steedwith patient care and help in treatment planning by taking X-rays and creating study models. I also take care of ordering all clinical supplies. I really enjoy getting to know my patients and trying to make them feel comfortable while they are here. I look forward to catching up with them when they come back in for a visit. Ours is a small office, and I have been fortunate enough to have made some long lasting friendships that I truly treasure.
I am married and have two wonderful, beautiful, and amazing adult daughters! I am caring for my great nephew who is a complete sweetheart! In my spare time, I enjoy being with my family and friends, being outdoors, scrapbooking, and reading.
My primary position here at Southern Maine Dental is Dr. Steed's assistant. We have been working together for almost a decade! I love being a dental assistant. It is my goal to help each patient be as comfortable as possible during their visits.
Ive been married to my high school sweetheart for 38years. We have three grown children, three granddaughters, and threegrand-dogs. I love spending time with family and friends, scrapbooking, snowmobiling, gardening, and going to the beach.
My job allows me to be versatile in the office, as I help out in any area that needs assistance. I love working in the lab pouring up models just as much as I love working at the front desk. It is so great to meet all the new people coming into the office. Coming here in 2011, Ive really enjoyed learning all about the dental field. I feel so lucky to have had such great teachers in our doctors and team members. The office has felt like a second home from day one.
Ive provided hygiene care for patients of all ages in this practice for more than 25 years. I especially love working with children, but I also enjoy the ongoing relationships that naturally develop over time between staff members and patients in a general practice. Many of our patients are either extended family of co-workers or friends of other existing patients. Our entire staff is absolutely phenomenal! From our doctors to every member of the team, we are all warm, welcoming, and dedicated to patient care.
I am married to my wonderful husband, Don, and we have one son, Tyler. My favorite forms of exercise have always been dancing and skiing, but when it comes time to relax, I love to travel. My hobbies include decorating, gardening, and baking.
I work closely with patients to improve their oral health by taking xrays regularly, providing thorough periodontal screenings, oral cancer screenings, scaling of the teeth, and providing fluoride treatments. Also, by placing sealants on childrens teeth to protect them from possible future decay. I strive to work together with patients in providing home care instruction to further assist patients in improving their oral health. My willingness to help everyone in the practice to make the team strong in order to provide each patient a wonderful dental experience.
I have been happily married to my high school sweetheart for 26 yrs now. We have 3 amazing children. We have been residence of Wells for 15 yrs. On my spare time I enjoy running, working around our home, sign making, crafting and volunteering in our community.
I have worked as a dental hygienist for more than 30 years, and have been happy to be a part of Southern Maine Dental's team for the majority of that time. Each year has brought new patients, and while I enjoy meeting new people, it is the relationships with our long-time patients that I cherish the most. Our office is such a warm, comfortable place to be, and our patients can tell that everyone on our team is committed to providing them with an outstanding experience.
I am passionate about helping my patients have the healthiest mouth possible. Building relationships with my patients is one of my favorite parts of being a dental hygienist. As a Biddeford native, I couldnt be more proud to be part of the Southern Maine Dental team.
I am so excited to begin this new journey with Dr. Steed and her staff. My 15+ years of experience in customer service coupled with my love of a challenge will help me create the best experience for the patients and consistently meet their needs. I look forward to many years with such a great group in a wonderful dental practice.
I am a mom of two great kids and I have a very hard-working husband. When we have time, we love to go skiing and hiking. Our goal is to acquire a camp where we can spend our weekends outside and on the water. I am looking forward to meeting everyone who is part of this dental community.

I called and asked if they accepted Mainecare as coverage for their office. The receptionist- Nicole, in a very snobby tone replied, " oh, no we don't!" Then I asked if she knew anyone in the area that did. She said no. Then she told me an outright lie, which was that if I had Mainecare and I was over the age of 21, then I could not get dental coverage. In the day and age when dental care is so important and so easy to obtain, it does not look very good for your office that you only cater to the rich, and are lying to clients when they call concerning their healthcare. Glad you have made so much money having your noses in the air. Maybe you should give back to the community at some point??? I called back after I made an appointment at another dentist's office and told Nicole she was out of line. I hope she doesn't mislead any more people seeking dental care.

While checking out I met Nicole, Kim and Denise of the office staff-they shared the same level of caring and welcoming personalities as Dr Steed and her dental assistants. It has been a few years since my emergency appointment and my only regret is Southern Maine Dental was not my original dental office.! I have referred many friends to them, all pleased with excellent dental care and very accommodating customer service. It may seem odd, but going to the dentist is now a pleasant experience!

I seen another dentist in his office who made my top dentures which were to big right from the beginning. He had to file two teeth off both sides in the back and have had problems from the start, these dentures are to big for my mouth and the dentist I don't believe is no longer in his practice. . I can't wear the dentures they hurt too much and haven't been able to eat with them from the start. I no longer have dental insurance so can't afford to have fixed. I was told if I go to standish dental they will be able to help me at a lower cost to repair these dentures that cost me over 7,000 to have my teeth pulled etc at this Drs. Advise I. Wish I never listened to this dentist. If something seems wrong don't hestitste to step up and say something . I wish I did. Paying for it now......

Dr Kenneally offers top notch service and care. In the five or so years as a patient I have never had a traumatic or unpleasant experience. Prices are affordable even if you don't have dental insurance. The staff are welcoming and easy to work with. I trust that their technology up to date. I love that they don't push services upon you or shame you. The office is clean, uncluttered and very comfortable. They have a great system for protecting the health and comfort of the patients. I truly feel I get the best care from Dr Kenneally's team.

The office is well run and all the staff are supportive, respectful and friendly. I am very happy that they offer 7am appointments. the office is very clean and they are on time. Dr. Kenneally is great. I had to leave my previous dentist that I had for 20 years and I was quite nervous about finding the right dentist. Dr. Kenneally has been a great choice. He does a thorough exam. He is friendly and puts me at ease. (I have a dental fear)

I have never been a fan of dentists, so when my family moved to the area a few years ago, the search for dental care to was exhaustive. I found Dr. Kenneally's credentials and use of advanced technology in his practice, to be an indicator of how invested the office would be in providing superior dental care, and I haven't been disappointed. I willingly refer my friends to this practice and recommend it to anyone looking for professional dental services.

The office is always clean and fresh. The staff is always smiling. My Hygienist remembers me from one visit to the next! Any questions I have ever had have been quickly and effectively answered.
