Dr. Grabowski was originally born in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Growing up, his family relocated to several states around the country due to his fathers job with the US Government. This journey took him from Colorado to Arizona and then into Florida before attending college in Georgia. While in college, he first attended Valdosta State University where he joined his older brother and full-filled one of his lifelong dreams of playing college football. He later transferred to Georgia Tech in Atlanta to complete his academic studies in Computer Engineering. Immediately following graduation from undergrad at Georgia Tech, he moved to Raleigh, North Carolina. He spent the next couple years in Research Triangle Park as an engineer at IBM before finding his calling and passion in dentistry. Dr. Grabowski completed his dental degree at the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry. Currently, his family resides nearby in the suburbs of Raleigh, where he has considered this home for over 18 years.
Dr. Grabowski spent the first several years of his dental career working in Fayetteville, NC, where he obtained extensive training in multidisciplinary areas of general dentistry. During this time, Dr. Grabowski made it his mission to deliver the best dental care possible to every patient that was seen in his practice, which included many of our military families from around the country. His dedication to continuing education and development of his clinical skills has resulted in certifications of Fellowship status with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and also becoming a Premier Provider of Invisalign for treating orthodontic needs. Among other accomplishments, he also brings an extensive background in performing a variety of oral surgery, endodontic, and CEREC-based treatment procedures.

Dr Grabowski and his staff are wonderful. Everyone is friendly and so nice. More importantly, their work is quality. And the tv's in the rooms make dental work much easier-Food Network during a crown made the process so much better. Definitely recommend!

They do excellent work. The attitude of the staff is wonderful and positive. I have been coming here a while and the previous doctor was good but Dr. G, she really updated the equipment and they do so much more now. I had a crown and he showed me the machine that made my crown. Wow! The other used to send it out to be made!!! Excellent office!

The staff was very friendly as always. I was in and out and received great care. I had follow up appointments that were made and the staff took time to work with my schedule. What's great is that the staff always remembers my family by name and ask how everyone is doing. Great Dentist office!

Honestly have never felt so belittled in a practice. I felt SO uncomfortable. And even after I met the dentist, I still decided I needed work done and TRIED to schedule follow ups MULTIPLE times and never received an email, call, nothing. And, when I went else where, it was much cheaper. So, I guess it all worked out. Be weary, this practice was highly recommended. I always give people the benefit of the doubt because I work in healthcare and everyone has their off days, but the "off day" shouldn't result in never replying to your patients.

Dr. Matthew Grabowski and staff are AMAZING! They give you the hometown feel and help feel you at ease (if you are nervous of the dentist). Shawn (dental hygienist) remembered small things we spoke of 6 months prior! I am so glad I have found them and will recommend them to anyone I speak to!

"Every time I've been to this dentist office it's been an easy process. The staff are professional and friendly. I get in and out of there quickly. They've helped me remedy two preexisting dental issues, which included one great referral. Now, with a clean bill of health, I schedule regular checkups and cleanings every six months. I couldn't be happier with the quality of service I've received from Dr. Grabowski and the staff at Southern Living Dentistry."

I had not been to the dentist in quite some time, so I was a bit apprehensive. However, it took no time at all before I felt completely relaxed. From the woman up front who did all the paperwork/accounting, but was so kind, yet professional, Kate; to the very friendly, non-judgemental dentist, Dr. Grabowski, who actually took time to talk to me and answer all my questions: to the woman, who took all my x-rays, Kayla, who is the reason I even came in and stayed. She didn't push anything on me, only suggested what she thought would work best and achieve the best results. I am very thankful for her, because I was ready to run screaming out of there at the first negative reaction from them. Great first experience I must say, thanks to you all.

"I was seen as an emergency patient for a broken tooth. I was given an appointment quickly. Luckily I was able to get a crown the same day. The office was very upfront about the cost and they accepted my insurance!. The staff including Dr Grabowski was very friendly. I would definitely recommend the office to friends & family."

Thank you so much for continuously making visits so effortless!! From the front office staff who are so warm and welcoming upon every arrival, to the clinical staff making sure you feel right at home, to Dr Grabowski, who is always amiable & does very thorough exams making sure we understand all, if any, of our preventative/treatment options.
