Overall, I have had a good experience with one pretty major hiccup that may be attributed to something other than the care of the practice. I needed too implants to fill in a spot where I used to have a bridge. I needed bone grafting to build up the space where a tooth was pulled years ago. We planned all of this for one surgery. Surgery went well but one implant continued to hurt. A month later it was still not stable. One healed nicely. This is a risk of implants so no judging. I had to have the one removed in surgery #2. Fast forward three months and the dr discovered another patient and I both had new implants put in and they both failed. The other tooth was a tried and true implant. Not sure why two different ones were used but it made it a lot less fun. So surgery 3 occurred and now I am healing nicely. Still have 4 months before I can get actual teeth placed on my implant rods but the surgeries are behind me. Plan for a lengthy period of not having teeth. I have a 'flipper' to look like teeth so all is well, but it was a lot of time and pain involved so just talk through it all carefully and ask the questions I never would have asked, like are these implants tried and have they a good track record? It's a fair question. Otherwise, Dr Williams and his staff have been quite lovely to me and I appreciate that I always wake up on the right side of the dirt in their hands.
