He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University, where he majored in biology in the pre-medical track. His Doctorate in Dental Medicine came from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. He embraces the mixture of technology, science, and medicine in a modern dental practice. He really loves talking with his patients so he can get an understanding of not only their healthcare needs, but who they are as people. He feels that it is important to make a connection with his patients on a level beyond just caring for their oral health.

Dr. Ranney met the love of his life, Ginger, in 2014. She is a native of Tennessee and is a schoolteacher who is beloved by her students. They were married in 2015 and Ginger moved to Indiana where they now live in Jeffersonville. Dr. Ranney and his wife do not have any children, but they are busy raising their spunky Havanese dog, Smalls, who was named after the character in the motion picture The Sandlot. Dr. Ranney and his wife love going out to see movies, attending concerts of their favorite bands and artists, and traveling. They enjoy taking Smalls on drives, especially in a convertible, because he loves the open top as much as the doc. Spending time with family and friends is really important to them, especially when it means getting together to watch their favorite college teams play football. Dr. Ranney and Ginger have a passion for exploring new places whenever possible on their Segways!

A lifelong resident of Sellersburg, Stacy began her career in dentistry by completing a dental assisting training program in 1992. With over 26 years experience, Stacy has worked in both the front and back office, and can assist with all aspects of your dental visit.

Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing cards, and traveling. Stacy is dedicated to building relationships with patients and providing an exceptional experience for every patient and having a great team atmosphere.

Stephanie was raised in Southern Indiana and graduated from Silver Creek High School. She enjoys making sure every patients experience in our office is a great one, and likes being involved and helping the community she has lived in her entire life.

She currently lives in Sellersburg with her fianc, Sean, and 4-year-old son, Waylon. In her spare time she enjoys off road adventures in their Polaris Razor, camping, and spending time with her family.

Julie was born and raised in Southern Indiana and graduated from North Harrison High School. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Louisville in 1995 and has enjoyed 25 years of caring for her patients dental needs.

Julie lives in a historical home in downtown New Albany, IN with Tim, her husband of 13 years and her two Jack Russell terriers, K.T. and Ninja. Julie enjoys lying by her pool, driving her Mustang convertible, and trying out all the new local restaurants.

Morgan was born and raised in Jeffersonville, Indiana and graduated from Christian Academy of Indiana. After high school, she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Louisville.

Nikki was born and raised in Sellersburg and is a proud Hoosier. Coming from a dental family, dentistry became a passion for her early on. Nikki has worked in dentistry for 8 years beginning in 2012, and became certified in Expanded Functions Dental Assisting in 2014 graduating from Medquest College in Louisville. Nikki joined Southern Indiana Dental Care in 2020.

Working alongside Dr. Ranney, Nikki prides herself on providing each patient with gentle, high quality dental treatment through cosmetic, tooth-colored restorations and provisional crowns. She enjoys fulfilling her passion for dentistry by treating each patient with kindness and care, and ensuring they leave feeling confident in the treatment theyve received at our practice.
