Dr. Clint Baugham and the members of our team are dedicated to serving our community with advanced treatments and comprehensive education. We believe that professional dentistry should not just enhance your smile, it should also improve your overall well-being. Recent studies have shown an intrinsic relationship between your oral, bodily, and mental health.
After dental school, he completed a residency in advanced general dentistry where he received extensive training in dental implant placement, IV sedation dentistry, and the latest in wisdom tooth extraction and oral surgery techniques. Dr. Baugham is a part-time clinical instructor and adjunct faculty member for residents at the Dental College of Georgia. He has earned his fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the Metropolitan Atlanta Study Group.
He completely believes that everyone can have a healthy smile and that going to the dentist should be a positive experience. He loves creating and recreating that positive experience in his dental office. Providing the highest level of comfort and care to his patients is one of the great honors of his life.
Holly has over 24 years of dental experience, serving as a dental assistant, insurance coordinator, training director, and office manager. She graduated from Medix in 1997, receiving the ADAA Student Achievement Award and has completed training with the JP Institute, Spear Education, Mercer Advisors, and multiple continuing education programs with the Thomas B Hinman Dental Society. She is also BLS and AED certified by the American Heart Association.
Originally from Adairsville, GA, Holly loves our patients and is passionate about making sure they receive quality service and attention all around. Today, she resides in Acworth, GA with her husband and twin girls who are active in softball and volleyball. Holly loves singing, spending time on any beach, and would like to one day visit Greece. She is inspired by the quote, 'Be faithful in the small things, because it is in them that your strength lies,' and we could not agree with her more!
Brandy is Dr. Baugham's wife and has been working at the office since August 2018. She graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education from Kennesaw State University in 2008. Before having kids, she taught elementary school for 5 years. When she was in elementary school, she spent years living in England and Saudi Arabia. She got to travel to over 18 countries before she was 12.
Brandy loves getting to be apart of her husband's dream and being able to understand more about the dental industry. She enjoys meeting all of the patients, hearing their stories, and helping in any way she can. In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis. She is very active in the tennis community in her neighborhood and is currently playing in three different leagues. She also enjoys volunteering in her children's classrooms and drinking coffee - a pot a day!
Morgan has 5 years of dental experience. She enjoys the work family at Southern Family Dental Care and thoroughly enjoys getting to know patients and their families. She strives to treat patients as she would like to be treated. She chose the dental industry because she spent a great deal of time in the dental chair as a kid and wanted to help others be less afraid of the dental process. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, hiking, kayaking, and crocheting when the weather is chilly.
Jeniece has 10 years of dental experience and has been with Southern Family Dental Care for 3 years. She graduated from Kaplan College in Indianapolis in 2011 with the highest honors. Jeniece enjoys getting to know her wonderful patients and staying true to Southern Family Dental Care's mission to help others. In her spare time, she loves doing makeup and hanging out with her kids and husband.
Julie went to school at Pensacola State College and brings 20 years of dental experience. She has a Masters of Art in Teaching and a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations. She loves meeting new people and chatting with patients while helping them achieve a healthy mouth. Her mission is to make patients feel comfortable without judgement while helping them meet their goals. In her spare time, Julie enjoys hiking in beautiful places and going on weekend trips.
Mariah has been in the dental field for 8 years, and a dental hygienist for 4 years. She loves meeting the patients at Southern Family Dental Care and working with the team. In her spare time, she enjoys self-care and spending time with her husband and 3 kids.

This is the best dental practice I have ever been to. Mariah was professional, friendly, and very thorough. She was so sweet right from the phone to my appointment. The doctor is an exceptional doctor. He is knowledgeable and answered all my questions or concerns. I would have rated 10 stars if that was an option. I highly recommend this practice. Holly was nice too

My family and I are new to GA and I was very nervous about finding a new dentist, however upon our first visit and every visit since at Southern Family it has been more than pleasant. The whole team is welcoming and friendly and the experience is as though you are visiting family. Great people with great service!

I want to thank Holly for being very helpful in helping me through my dental process. I also want to give Dr. Bergahm a huge thanks, he was absolutely amazing. After my procedure I literally had no pain. And of course a thank you to the doctors assistant. She made me very comfortable and relaxed.

Took our 13-year old son to his regular dental check-up. Mariah took his X-rays and took care cleaning. She was careful and really friendly with him. She noticed he had 3 more baby teeth that were coming out soon. Mariah actually took time to talk with my wife, who is deep into all the medical stuff, on the phone. This Dental group is superb.

The folks over at Southern Family Dental Care are wonderful. Jeneice, Mariah, and Holly always make sure to take great care of us. Dr Baugham is an excellent dentist who always makes sure we are comfortable and treats us like family.

I can't give more stars because if I could, I would. The entire staff is just awesome and so professional and truly care about each patient. The environment is so welcoming. I was very nervous as I have a phobia about the dentist from the past but they have really assured me and took special care of me. Can't thank them enough. Dr Baugham and staff is amazing!

Dr Baugham, Holly and the staff are just awesome and very aware of patient comfort. We discuss each procedure before doing it. They have helped me in more than one delicate dental situation and I have come out better for it. Love these guys and have recommended them to friends

Hands down the best dental practice I've ever been to! The staff is great, office is welcoming and clean, and Dr. Baugham is amazing! He walks you through every step of the way and ensures he addresses any questions or concerns. The staff overall does an amazing job at making you feel comfortable during your treatments. 10/10 recommend!

I have visited this Dentist twice and found them to be not only professional but also easy to talk to, committed to giving everyone the best dental care possible, and priced well for general check ups. I went in for a filling and it was the best experience I've ever had with this procedure. There was zero pain, even with the anesthesia needle. Dr. Baugham explained each step as he went and I was done about 30 minutes after entering the office. The anesthesia wore off quickly after I left, instead of the hours later I'm used to enduring.

Southern Family Dental Care is by far the best dentist I have seen. The office staff and hygienists are super friendly and Dr Baughman is so attentive and authentic. I know when I come here that I will get a great cleaning, good advice on dental hygiene, and only be told about real issues. I never worry that I am being upsold or told to do something unnecessary. Unfortunately that is not so easy to come by, so I feel lucky to have found this place!!

My first visit to Dr. Baugham's dental office was excellent. All personnel are knowledgeable, patient, and kind. The office has updated equipment which makes the entire experience more pleasant Dr. Baugham is thorough. I am happy to have found him.
