I love that while my husband and I are getting our teeth cleaned, their BOARD CERTIFIED PEDIATRIC DENTIST can see my children at the same time! Perfect for busy families! From the moment you walk in the door, you feel like you're family here! The providers take amazing care of us and the business team always has a smile on their face! We love SDA!

This office does a great job at making you feel right at home! You are greeted by friendly, smiling faces as soon as you walk through the doors. The staff and doctors do an excellent job at explaining everything from the procedures all the way down to insurance payments. I am so thankful to have found such a wonderful group of dental providers!
'My kids have been using this practice for several years and they have been amazing with them. Even my special needs child remains calm. I however only recently began using them for myself. I have an incredible phobia of going to the dentist. It 's embarrassing but I went 20yrs without dental care due to my fears. I had a medical issue arise that can affect my teeth so I had no choice but to start care. I explained my fears to the receptionist and she immediately said Dr.Liner would be the best for me as he is so gentle and patient with people like me. And he really is. Since it had been so long, I needed a 4hr deep root cleaning and one tooth pulled. He made sure I was comfortable and the hygenist frequently made sure I wasn 't feeling anything. It took a few visits to get everything corrected but I have no hesitation going to the dentist now. I 'm actually starting the process of Invisalign and I 'm so glad they now offer it because I will not go to another practice. The whole staff has been so accommodating and up front with estimates. Sometimes the estimate is wrong and I owe more, but that 's what an estimate is. It 's not a firm price. It 's an estimate of remaining charges after insurance is filed. I wish I could remember the names of everyone I have dealt with but Dr.Shobe, Dr. Liner, Niki, and Sharon are the ones I speak with most frequently but the staff as a whole is great. Don 't bother going anywhere else. You won 't find better medicine or customer service at another practice'
Everyone I encountered was wonderful. I felt welcomed and appreciated. I never felt like just another patient. Staff went out of their way to be accommodating and helpful. I got the feeling that the staff genuinely like each other and worked well together. Having a medical background makes me recognize and appreciate really good patient care. YOU GUYS ROCK. Thanks to each of you for making my first visit so pleasant.
'I had a dental emergency for my 9 year old son and they took such great care of him, accommodated us, helped make sure he felt no pain and calmed his anxiety. They are all very friendly and caring. We even drive over an hour to go to Southern Dental for pediatrics and adult dentistry.'

Dr Shobe and the whole team at SDA is so fabulous. From the game arcade waiting area, to the Star Wars themed procedure room to the awesome cleaning stations with movie screens--this place is centered around kids (and especially BOYS which is nice for this three-boy mama!). Dr Shobe makes every effort to connect with the kids in real and meaningful ways--not just surface small talk--he remembers details about my boys' lives--which is impressive! The hygienists are patient, kind and also efficient. We never have to wait more than five minutes! Most importantly, unlike many other pediatric dentists in our area, SDA is accepting of my parental choices (regarding frequency of fluoride, X-rays, types of toothpastes) and they recognize that some kids may do better with a parent in the room (I've never been told to "wait outside"). SDA is also reasonably priced and they don't make you pay for unnecessary things. If I could give six stars, I would.

We have been coming here since my three boys were babies. They are now 4,5, and 7. Every experience that we have at this office exceeds my expectations. The employees are so kind and patient with my boys, I could not ask for better people to be treating my children. Dr. Shobe does an incredible job at explaining to me what's is going on with my boys teeth and what to do and look out for moving forward as they grow. I highly recommend this office to anyone who is looking for pediatric dentistry. We are 30 minutes away but this office is absolutely worth the drive!

This particular visit I had no issues. However, recently my kids cost of services increased and when I called I was told that SDA no longer accepts the state health plan . I did not receive any information on this. I feel like when I checked in and was asked if I had any changes, then it would have been precessional to have also been told about your change in insurances you are working with.

We've always had great experiences here. Deb is my hygienist and I wouldn't trade her for any other! I work as a dental hygienist in a different dental office and can get my teeth cleaned anytime, free of charge, haha. I love Deb too much to leave her though! My son is 5 and has never been anywhere else. The pediatric section is perfect in its simplicity. He has never experienced one bit of anxiety and even went back all by himself on his last visit! Made it through X-rays and everything without a hiccup. Dr Shobe and his pediatric team are great! We love Southern Dental Associates!

We can't say enough great things about Southern Dental. From intake to the front desk to the dental staff, our family has been cared for so well. We have a child with an extreme fear of the dentist and through an extreme amount of patience, calm and a desire to help our daughter refrain her dental experience and work through her fear she has made TREMENDOUS progress and was able to have a procedure snd without sedation, something we thought was impossible. We are so grateful for the staff!

My daughter was recently in to see Dr. Huck for a tooth extraction. Dr Huck was so amazing. She was very through and explained the procedure every step of the way and made my 11 year old daughter feel at ease. Highly recommend this dentist she is very good with children.

We love SDA of Lewisville. All of the staff is amazing, my kids see Dr. Shobe and he is the best kids dentist I have ever seen. He communicates so clearly, very friendly and personable. The office is always so clean too. Highly reccomend
