As a mother, Dr. Wong truly cares for each child as her own. She firmly believes that your child deserves the best personalized care and attentiveness at each visit. After living on both coasts and in the midwest, Dr. Wong is proud to call the Carolinas her home.
Dr. Wong attended the University of Michigan for undergraduate and dental school. She then went on to pursue her pediatric dental certificate at the University of Southern California Ostrow School of Dentistry and Childrens Hospital Los Angeles. Throughout her education, Dr. Wong has strived to help those in need by volunteering at the Crowe Indian Reservation in Montana, researching the effects of fluoride in preschool aged children in Santiago, Chile, and treating children of immigrant farmers in Traverse City, Michigan.

We always have a wonderful experience at Southern Charm Dentistry. They are kind, caring and patient. My daughter has a really hard time at the dentist and they talk her through each step compassionately. They go as quickly as possible while also being thorough. We are fortunate to have found them!

We absolutely love Dr. Wong and her incredible staff. My daughter had a bad cavity and that's when chose Dr. Wong to help her. She and her staff are beyond patient and accommodating. My daughter looks forward to every cleaning.. Thank YOU, Dr. Wong!

Dr Wong was wonderful with my son and explained his cleaning step by step. Front desk is also nice and helpful. Wish we would have found her sooner. When we left my son said, she's the best. Highly recommend Dr Wong & staff Unfortunately, I have to edit my review. Dr Wongs hygienist are awful! This is the 2nd time we've had to deal with someone who honestly, sucked and doesn't belong in the pediatric world. Her last hygienist questioned everything I requested and the one today 8/16, she was just awful and needs to step away and become an adult hygienist. She was boring and totally blah! She cut my son's gum with the brush thing they used and his mouth hurt and he cried afterwards. We are stepping away from this office because Dr Wong apparently doesn't observe how they act with kids when she's away. She definitely needs to sneak beside the door and observe how they act and do. Have already contacted another dentist for my son's next appointment next year. Was told son had a begining cavity and it needed to be watched. Went to a different dentist for a 2nd opinion and even looking at Dr Wongs x-ray and current dentist x-ray, there wasn't anything there. Definitely disappointed in the lie! So glad we left. Don't expect any company to admit their staff isn't up to par, why would they? Always find businesses feedfack a laugh. Also, get a 2nd opinion if told your child has a cavity or beginning of one here. 2nd opinion found nothing from their x-ray and Wongs.

My daughters first visit to a dentist turned into needing an extraction. Dr Wong and staff were friendly, inviting and most of all so gentle! What could have been a very traumatic first visit to see a dentist ended up fantastically! Thank you so much for taking such good care of us today!

Our 1 year old has a good experience! Joanna at the front desk was so sweet and so welcoming! Dr Wong was excellent with Lizzie, she explained everything to us and showed us some new techniques for brushing her teeth. I'm happy we found them and look forward to seeing them again in 6 months!

Amazing experience!! The entire staff was friendly, informative, and made the visit a positive one. My 9-year old son had to get teeth pulled and he left saying "That wasn't so bad..." That says it all. Highly recommend!

Southern Charm Pediatric Dentistry is amazing! I really love this dentistry! They take the time for your child and do whatever it takes to keep them comfortable! I love that one family is scheduled at a time, so you're not worrying about ruining another family's experience, and the focus from the practice is on your child/children. We were so pleased with our experience at Southern Charm! Both of my children went in for appointments and it was my son's first time getting his teeth cleaned. We usually have to wrestle him every time we brush his teeth, but the team at Southern Charm made it so much fun for both of them. My daughter is very calm and has always done well sitting for the dentist, but my son is my wild child so we were a bit nervous. They were SO PATIENT and SO KIND even towards the end when he struggled with sitting still. I still cannot believe he sat for x-rays, we are so happy we were referred here. Thank you so much!

Great experience here yesterday! My 5 year old, who has never had dental work before, needed a extraction in addition 3 cavities. Dr. Wong and her staff were fast and made him feel comfortable throughout the whole process and I was able to be in the room with him the entire time. I highly recommend!
