Dr. Tung Bui grew up helping his mother in her dental office. Consequently he knew as a young man that dentistry was the path he wanted to take. These early-in-life experiences were the perfect start for his lifes work.
In dental school, conversations with residents, whom he found to be both fun and smart, deepened his interest, and as result fanned his interest into genuine passion. Eventually he resolved to pursue a career in Endodontics.
A native of Toronto Canada, Dr. Bui and his wife, Ai Leen, moved to the desert southwest in 2007 to join the team at Southern Arizona Endodontics. Subsequently, the Bui family welcomed a new member of their family; their son David in 2014.
Had a previous Root Canal that was done elsewhere, re-done by Dr. Bui.He carefully explained the process and took time to insure I understood everything and answered all of my questions. Relatively painless!

Dr. Dave Burros never dreamed his career could be so much fun. After many years and thousands of root canals, he still cant wait to tell you how much he loves his job. Thats especially so when he gets to work on unusual or difficult cases.
I have had several root canals here. The staff is awesome. Dr Burros, Dr Justin Hughes are the best! The minute your numb, your pain free. Minimal pain for healing time. They explain everything.I highly recommend them.

I had a root canal and the pain management and prep by Dr. Cross and Zoe was outstanding. Easier than getting a cavity filled (not that I know what that is like)

First of all I am only giving this place one star because I am not able to put ZERO STARS. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I went in to get an evaluation referred by my dentist for a root canal that did not work. I am bilingual, however I did prefer an interpreter in Spanish to be able to fully understand what was going on with my teeth and to know my treatment options. The interpreter was a young female, thin and tall with dark hair. She was incredibly rude and she made racial slurs. First, I was confused about the process and what the doctor was telling me, so I would ask questions to understand what decision I wanted to make regarding my treatment. The interpreter asked me "are you an engineer?" I answered "no, why?". She replied "well because you are acting like an engineer because you are asking so many questions and want to know everything". Second, i would also ask her for any professional recommendations about treatment and she replied "we cannot tell you what to do it is your own decision. I cant guarantee you it is going to help you because it is like a heart attack, you are never 100% sure". Third, her job was to INTERPRET between myself and the doctor. Instead multiple times i had to ask her to please relay what i was asking or saying to the doctor. Instead she refused to translate and instead would proceed to tell her own opinions. Lastly and THE MOST IMPORTANT REASON WHY YOU SHOULD NOT GO HERE. She made various racial slurs towards me, simply because I preferred Spanish rather than English. Please be aware that I was nervous throughout the appointment and was being polite the entire time. I asked politely and concerned that if I had the procedure done if I would be able to go to work the following day. She had the audacity to assume i cleaned houses. She said "well if you had a good desk job then yes you can, but if you are cleaning houses then no you will not be able to". The way that i was treated was simply grotesque. I left feeling disappointed, insulted, offended, and humiliated. Please do NOT go here, you will not feel reassured and you will not be treated professionally. What a shame that they would employ such a person with a lack of professionalism. Those that are hired at this place should be polite, educated, knowledgeable, and overall professional.

Couldn't have imagined a better experience from same day scheduling to thorough evaluation and believe it or not, painless root canal! The only discomfort was the numbing medication but zip after that. Thank you Dr. Smith for everything! For the first time in a long time I can eat and brush my teeth without that zing of nerve sensitivity! Immediate relief!

I hate to say I'm an expert but thanks to genetics and small accident I am. This was my 5th root canal and my 4th with Dr Burrows. He does an excellent evaluation and a very meticulous job fixing the tooth. I can tell they stay on top of the newest procedures as well. My last one was 5 years ago and the procedure was a little different as far as instruments go, but I am glad to see they use the newest equipment and techniques. Dr. Burrows was very nice about answering all my questions which I'm sure he been asked a million times, but he was very understanding and made me feel very comfortable. Unfortunately, we will probably meet again, but I will definitely come back here!

I was able to schedule a same day emergency root canal, thank goodness. I received the highest quality of care. Dr. Burros explained the process every step of the way as did his assistant. The office staff was transparent about out-of-pocket expenses, so no surprises. I am so grateful to everyone at Southern Arizona Endodontics! My pain is gone!

I have had 3 root canals at Southern Arizona Endodonitics, Oracle Location, over the past few years. I love this place! I was in a lot of pain with the last two teeth, and they got me in the same day my dentist referred me. They even said patient comfort is a priority and it truly is. It is almost a pleasant experience. This time I had Dr. Keippel and Lisa and I couldn't be happier! Lisa gently massaged my shoulder while D. K injected the numbing agent. I was in and out in less than two hours. I hightly recommend this place. A root canal here is a GOOD thing!

Dr. Burros is the best hands down. Was referred by my dentist for root canal, Dr. Burrows took the time to fully evaluate and save the tooth with filling instead of immediately doing root canal saving me a lot of $ out of pocket and heartache. Every other dentist I have been to has made me feel like they were rushing me out the door, but not here. They were not here to take my money, but to give the best treatment available. Thank you so much. Highly recommend to anyone with dental anxiety. Best part was the price, I expected much worse

Not going to lie a shot in the mouth and drilling were one of my fears. Started getting major toothpain and heard those dredded words "root canal". Got referred to Dr.Smith at southern az endodontics. Not only was it quick it was basically painless. They make you feel at ease are very professional. Wouldn't get it done anywhere else.
