I went to see Dr. G and staff as a second opinion on a "failing" implant that was placed 17 years ago. Not only did the kind staff calm my nerves revolving around taking some medication/ anesthesia for the procedure, but everyone was full of knowledge, kindness, and peace. I got My procedure done yesterday and am on no pain medicine. I really think it's due to the fact that the Dr and staff are so skilled in what they do that I'm feeling relatively no pain. Considering the first specialist I went to wanted to remove both of my implants and do 3 follow up surgeries, Dr G and staff were able to prolong the life of my implant and make me feel so comfortable in the process. I would definitely recommend them to my family and will be taking my children here for wisdom teeth. A bonus is that aesthetically my gum was receding and Dr G was able to repair the bone and tissue loss in that area. From the front desk, to the nurses, to the Dr, this place is priced right and is the best place for implant care I have ever gone to. 10/10 in my book!

Whether I'm being put out for a later implant out or having my teeth clean by Nell, the complete staff is extremely professional from beginning to the end of the procedure. I always recommend Dr. GEIST and his wonderful staff. Update, just had a clean bill by the hygienist, in and out in under an hour ,love the staff forever.

My 14 year old was referred to Southbay for a consultation and was quickly squeezed in for a minor procedure. Dr. Eric Geist and his staff were absolutely phenomenal. They took their time to explain every detail of the treatment. They were very professional and such a welcoming, positive, happy and polite team. It's a great place!

I've been going to Southbay Periodontics for years and have always been very pleased with everything they've done there.I had my implants done there by Dr. Geist approximately 3 years ago and they're still in perfect condition. I still go there every six months for cleanings and have complete confidence in everything they do. Dr. Geist, Mel (the dental hygienist) are both fantastic, and of course Wendy who's at the front desk is just as wonderful. I don't know the others who work there as well, but the few times I met them, they were just as good. As a bonus, Dr. Geist has the best sense of humor. I highly recommend Southbay Periodontics for all your periodontal needs.

I was referred here by Inspiration Dental. I was hesitant at first because I didn't want to get my teeth pulled. I bit the bullet (no pun intended) because they were extremely persistent about this. The young ladies that I spoke with over the phone for scheduling were courteous and very helpful (I was able to get in a bit earlier than what they had initially, and they had no issue prescribing a round of antibiotics before my appointment). After my initial assessment, I was able to get an appointment. I don't know how the appointment went because I was put under it during the operation. I can be very high strung (especially when it comes to these types of things) and I'm pretty sure that I called the office during and after hours for at least the first week or so following the extraction (all 4). The recovery was an 'experience' to put it nicely. Still, I appreciated the fact that the folks here tried to put my mind at ease and to assure me that I was doing things properly. I've never called a doctor after hours, but Dr. Geist was very kind and patient with me when I called during the evening or when they were closed. On top of that, the ladies that I spoke to after-hours were the same. They all listened to my concerns (even if I repeated myself) and always made the effort to put my mind at ease. I had to see my primary care provider for some things as well as another doctor and was told that the extraction sites were healing nicely, as they were curious to see how things were. (I was told this by Dr. Geist and the ladies at the office as well), but it was nice to get a 2nd and 3rd opinion (I didn't really ask for any but that was nice). The office is very clean, and the mask mandate was enforced as far as I could tell. I appreciate the fact that they put the patients first at this office. I'm pretty sure that they wanted to strangle me through the phone a few times, but they were always courteous. I'd recommend this practice, and this comes from a high-strung person who had all 4 removed at once. They are great all around, but you couldn't pay me enough to go through the process again, but if I had to, I would probably choose Southbay Periodontics again. Friendly and professional folks. I apologize, as the names of the young ladies there slip my mind. However, I do remember a Mrs. Wendy. Nevertheless, all amazing folks and I'm glad that I can tick that box off the health-related items list.

Dr. Geist and his staff are amazing. Very friendly. I went in for a gingivectomy scheduling was a breeze. Procedure was painless. I'm in love with my results. So happy I found this office. Such a great experience overall.

Dr Geist and his staff where amazing. He took the time out to help another dentist that was working with me. Even though he didn't fix the issue, he and he staff made every attempt and came up with every possible solution to try to help me. I would highly recommend him because he has amazing patient care and explains everything in a manner that allows you to follow what he's doing. Thank you so much for your help and the recommendation on how to fix the issue. I appreciate you and your staff's effort!!

From the moment you walk in with Wendy, to the staff in the back with the assistants and Dr .Geist , it is always a pleasant experience! Very professional, friendly and caring staff. The doctor is thorough , calming and knowledgeable! Knowing you have to have dental surgery is a pretty anxiety filled experience , but at southbay they make sure to put your anxiety in your pocket and know you're in great hands . I would recommend Dr.Geist and his staff to anyone I know! For implants and any periodontal work needed:)

I'm so happy with Dr.Geist and his staff there the best at what they do , I always feel great after my visit. I have been going to see them for a year and my teeth and gums have never been so clean and healthy. Great job everyone !

My experience was great, everyone made me feel very comfortable, office was very clean. Dr Geist was very nice and took his time explaining all of the procedure that I'm going to undergo.
