Dr. Noriges team consists of dedicated individuals who are kind, friendly, and caring. Our goal as staff here is to ensure a pleasant and comfortable experience during your visit to our office, whether for a traditional cleaning or a major procedure.
Our team includes experienced and energetic people whose goal is to communicate well with our patients and provide the best care possible. We like to think of our patients more as family, and we enjoy participating in community events as a team.
My name is Karen and I am one of the Dental Assistants in our office. I am a graduate of Porter and Chesters Certified Dental Assistant program and have been working at South Windsor Smiles since Feb 2013. I have one son, three daughters and four grandchildren. I reside in Broad Brook with my husband Jerry and two of our youngest daughters. In my spare time I enjoy traveling in our motorhome, bicycling, gardening, going to the beach and spending time with family and friends. I look forward to meeting you and helping you feel comfortable during your dental visit!
Dr. Norige is Co-Chairman of the Connecticut State Dental Association Annual Scientific Meeting, a Fellow of the International College of Dentists, Member of the exclusive Horace Welles Society, and maintains membership in the American Dental Society, the Hartford Dental Society, and the American Academy for Oral Systemic Health. Dr. Norige has been a preceptor at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, a professor at St. Josephs College, and Co-Chairman of the CSDAs Pregnancy Clinic at the annual Mission of Mercy.
Dr. Norige has provided dental care to patients in four countries in North and Central America, as well as patients from Sweden, Uruguay, Venezuela, and China. Dr. Norige has experience treating people from a wide range of backgrounds including doctors, lawyers, bus drivers, retirees, and professional athletes.
Dr. Norige has been seen on Better Connecticut and Eyewitness News on WFSB Channel 3, heard on Between Rounds on WTIC AM 1080, and in an exclusive interview on eHealth Radio. Dr. Norige has had multiple articles published in Natural Nutmeg magazine. As a speaker, Dr. Norige has appeared at the Rotary Club, the Chamber of Commerce, the Boy Scouts of America, privately owned dental practices, and local schools.
Dr. Norige has been married to his wife Donna for over forty years. Dr. and Mrs. Norige have two married children and five grandchildren, one girl and 4 boys. Aside from playing the role of Papa to his grandkids, he enjoys hiking, biking, nearly any outdoor activity, and is an avid reader.
I have been working with Dr. Norige at South Windsor Smiles for 13 years and am our office manager/team leader. Id love to help you navigate your insurance coverage, schedule your next treatment, and help you have your best smile!
When Im not in the office, I love to spend time with my husband and pups, Meika the English mastiff and Haley the Weimeraner. I also like to cook, work out, and spend time on my familys farm in Pennsylvania.
I starting working with Dr. Norige 9 years ago in the front office, but I have moved on to the back as a dental assistant. I like to be sure our patients are comfortable while they are receiving treatment with Dr. Norige. Outside of the office I like to spend time with my husband Steve and kids Jenna and Steven, as well as my various pets which include dogs, cats and horses. We just got an RV and are excited to go on new adventures!
I have been a hygienist at South Windsor Smiles for 10 years. The best part of my job is to see all my patients, old and new, and catch up on new events and family life. I try to help our patients to be the healthiest they can be and leave with a big smile.
When Im not in the office Im enjoying time with my family. My daughter will be attending the University of Alabama in the fall majoring in nursing. Roll Tide!! My son will be high school sophomore and I enjoy watching him play football and basketball. I love to cheer him on at his games!
I am a Registered Dental Hygienist at South Windsor Smiles. I have been in dentistry since 2000 when I started my journey as a Dental Assistant. I loved people and helping to create healthy smiles so much I went on to become a hygienist in 2006.

I found DR Norige on line and decided to call in an event of a major emergency. My tooth is so extremely abcessed and infection has spread to my ears and head. Also, affecting my swalling. I have been searching for help and found he advertising online that he helps with emergency 24-7 I spoke with him and He told me to go to the hospital. Hospitals Do NOT HELP WITH DENTAL PROBLEMS. Which im sure he knew. Because i called him back from the hospital and he wouldn't return my call for emergency help.I heard he was a wonderful Dr.with compassion. But obviously he didn't care to help Dr.NORIGE, HAS COMPLETELY GNORED MY CALL FOR HELP.

Its hard to find a good dentist these days. I travel 45 mins each way to see Dr. Norige. Its worth it. He cares and delivers. Thank you Dr. Norige!

So I feel like no one likes going to the dentist right? Well this office is amazing. Every single person is kind and helpful. I have always had wonderful hygienists and Doctor Norige himself is spectacular!!!! I refer anyone and everyone who asks to this office: Including my own children. Dr. Norige and his assistant Katie were absolutely amazing today! I had to have a procedure that needed numbing of my gum and work on a tooth. I have been dreading this appointment but knew I needed to care for my tooth as the Doctor had explained previously. From the front desk to the chair... my experience was quick and pain free. I was in and out in about 30 minutes! I didn't feel a thing and Dr. Norige and his assistant were kind and understood my appreciation. I would highly recommend South Windsor Smiles!

The team at South Windsor Smiles is knowledgeable, caring and efficient. Along with some needed fllings, Dr. Norige saved a tooth that I was told (by another dentist) would need to be replaced with an implant. The dental work was done in the fall and all is well. Today I visited with the hygienist and had the another great experperience. I find the office to be comfortable with a fun atmosphere.

Very well run practice with very warm, friendly and efficient personnel including the doctor. The doctor is the real deal. He sincerely wants to help preserve your teeth and provide the best experience possible when doing so. To top it off they always leave you smiling and with a pretty one at that!

I have four daughters who LOVE going to the dentist because of South Windsor Smiles. No, really,..they constantly ask me when their next appointment is! We have been going here for a few years and have never had a bad visit. All the staff is so friendly and attentive and of course Dr.Norige is just the best! Highly recommend!

Every staff member at this dental practice is skilled, compassionate, and professional, starting with Dr Norige and including all. I've been a patient there for 25 years and they've seen me through broken teeth, cancer, and painful conditions.They've seen me for weekend emergencies, and never once have I felt pain from their work. Great place, great people, great dentistry!

I am so glad I found Dr Norige when I was searching for a dentist. Dr. Norige is the best dentist I ever had. He is so caring and knowledgeable. Dr. Norige will never suggest unnecessary procedures for financial gain. Everyone in the office is super friendly and easy to work with. And just when I thought it couldn't get any better, today I met Michelle, the hygienist and I don't have enough words to describe her pleasant, friendly, professional and caring personality. What an awesome team!
