I was born and raised in North Ogden and love being back home again and a graduate of Weber High. While attending Utah State, I met my wonderful wife, Kimmy. After graduation at USU, I was off to dental school in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at Marquette University. During this time many things happened I found out I could grow a decent beard (its cold in WI), became an avid Green Bay Packers fan, learned an awful lot about teeth, and became a father twice over. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from dental school, I spent the next year working at the Veterans Hospital in SLC as a general practice resident. It was there that I was trained in many aspects of dentistry such as oral surgery, implants, root canals and complex restorative dentistry. I practiced in Salt Lake City for over a year before deciding to come back home to practice. I love being a dentist in Ogden, and I pride myself on my compassion and quality dentistry. When Im not at the office, you can find me spending time with my family, biking, skiing, golfing and fly fishing.

To be completely honest I have always had anxiety anytime I set foot in the dentist's office. However, these guys make the experience as enjoyable as possible. They always take great care of me. Always making sure I'm as comfortable as possible. I Won't go anywhere else!!

Dr Russell and his staff were super welcoming and professional. Treatment plan was well explained and costs outlined/estimated in detail. Option was left to me for treatment/resolution without pressure to jump right to the most expensive option. Excited to continue with him and his staff! Thank you!!

Dr. Russell is a very skilled and.caring dentist. He is easy to talk to, and will spend whatever time is needed with you. I never feel rushed. His office staff and hygienists are very kind and helpful. They provide great care.for me and my family.

If Dr Russell isn't your dentist and your not going to South Weber Dental your crazy!! Hands down best dentist and staff ever.... They care about each patient and make sure you feel like you and your family are the only people in the place. Highly recommend making this your place to go!!

I was looking for a personal referral to a good Dentist & found one; Great staff & Dr. I was a new patient & not happy w/prior experience w/prior Dental Corporate type Offices in or near my area of Cottonwood. Dr. Russel was through & fully explained needed repairs with pictures on the spot. I was given options, considering my insurance & finances, so I could better plan possible future costs of care that may be needed. I appreciated his candor & full disclosure of options. It was well worth my 45min drive to get a 2nd opinion & even ID another issue my last exam didn't mention.

I had to have a crown done and the shot they gave me only numbed the area around the tooth and was not like the previous shots I used to get at the dentist it didn't know my whole face I got the permanent crown the same time I was very satisfied. No going back for a second trip

Such a friendly, caring staff. Tammy did a great job cleaning my teeth. Dr. Russell looked at my teeth and was willing to answer any questions.
