Dr Dan did a superb job with my daughter's wisdom teeth and also with some work that I needed. Highly recommended!

Thank you very very much to The entire South Wake Oral Team Staff and Dr. Mahar. You all are wonderful and I will highly recommend you guys for any Oral Surgery care anyone may need. I was in almost unbearable tooth/gum pain yesterday and the staff got me immediately worked in the next morning. From the time I walked in the door beginning to end everyone was so welcoming, nice, and professional. The staff also walk you outside to insure you get in ok, have all your prescriptions and aftercare directions and to answer any last minute questions.

The doctor and nurses were lovely and very sweet. I had 4 wisdom teeth pulled and 6 days later, I'm practically pain-free. BUT be cautious of hidden and secret fees. I was told the consultation would be free, and then ended up having to pay hundreds of $$ bc they claimed I needed an x-ray, even though I'd had one that year already. BE CAREFUL OF BEING CHARGED SECRETLY.

The Dr was great, but be aware of their payment process though. They got me. I pd over $1k (with insurance) the day of surgery & nearly 2wks later they drafted another $96 out of my account without any notice. Tracie (office manager) tells me if the draft wasn't over $100 they don't have to notify you & there would be a $10 fee if I wanted a copy of the bill. So if the draft had been $4 more, they wouldn't notified me. If I owe more, fine so be it, but tell someone before you take it out of their account. She said she doesn't have the time to do that but she found time to talk to me today for a few minutes? This is my experience & feel they were being sly to collect more funds. Once again the Dr was great.

Beware of FEES..and SHADY business practice. After the consultation with Dr. Mahar, the manager Tracie billed me $113.00 (consultation fee). I said "Consultations are free. Why wasn't I told there would be a fee when I made the appointment or filled out the paperwork?" Tracie replied "we NEVER TELL patients there is a FEE, it's the PATIENT RESPONSIBILITY to ASK."

The paperwork and check-in processes were all easy, for me personally (Allie/Ally helped with that). Dr. Mahar did an amazing job, i had 2 impacted wisdom teeth and 2 other non-impacted teeth. He took them all out and I had very little pain or swelling and have fully recovered without a problem. Thank you!

This location was recommended by our dentist, Dr. Walker of Benson Dentistry, and we trust him. South Wake Oral Surgery is a nice, professionally appointed office; conveniently located. The staff is friendly.

Dr.Mahar did an amazing job for my 17 year old son. He was able to extract 4 wisdom teeth in about 45 mins. My son was fully recovered in about 6 days because he listen to the instruction that were given. I would highly recommend him for any oral surgery.

Could not have had a better experience than we did with Dr. Mahar. My son was injured during his soccer game and he came in over the weekend to take care of him. He went above and beyond in his care and treatment and we will definitely recommend his office in the future!!!!

Dr. Mahar and his staff are awesome. He did an extraction and an implant and not once did I feel any discomfort. He and his staff are Number 1 in my book. It is refreshing to experience this, at this time, when most customer service has gone down the tubes........
