After having my daughters at another local office for 6 years I was very hesitant to change but we needed to. I was so happy to come across south valley and after 4 visits now I can hands down say this place is AMAZING. South valley blows everyone out of the water. Seriously they are phenomenal. From the front desk, assistants, Dr. Moody, down to the billing. This place is amazing. I wish I would of found them so long ago. They are so good with my daughters and 3 year old son. I have to shout out Jessica because I just adore her! She helps ease all my nerves as a mother when my kiddos are in the chair. Dr. Moody is phenomenal, I absolutely love that he takes my input as their mother really into account. My 6 year old daughter panics when she gets in that chair and he is so good and so patient with her. Constantly asks me if I think we should stop today and break up the work between a couple visits, or keep it going. The fact that he cares enough to even ask is top notch for me! And just to add, we have never waited more than 10 mins in the waiting room!! I will recommend this office 100 times over to everyone I know!

Dr. Moody is really personable and had better luck looking at our kids teeth than we do. The office is also super firm and engaging for kids with the aquarium and fish theme.

My 4 year old had oral surgery yesterday. Her appointment was at 2:00pm. When I arrived, I was told that the dentist was running a little behind schedule. I asked how long I would be waiting. I was told possibly 30 minutes. We ended up waiting 2 hours in the lobby. My 4 year old has been fasting all day and was very hungry and sick of waiting. I had to keep asking how much longer it was going to be. I kept getting told 10-15 minutes, but that 10-15 minutes turned into 2 hours. We finally get taken back and had to wait another 30-45 minutes. Nobody came to tell us how long it was going to be. I had to search for an employee to ask how much longer it would be. Finally at 5:00pm, she was taken in for her oral surgery. The surgery took 90 minutes. They brought my daughter to the recovery room at 7:00pm. It has now been 5 hours of being there. I was so upset that I left as soon as I possibly could. I was upset at the Riverwoods Medical Center where she had her surgery. I feel improvement can be made here by keeping patients informed of when they will be seen and taking in consideration of the patient that has been fasting all day and is hungry. I understand emergencies, but I was never told there was an emergency, just that he was behind schedule. Maybe they could have called and rescheduled her or informed us to come in a few hours later. This made me very upset and I felt sad that my daughter kept saying she was hungry. They said she would get a balloon and that never happened. Not that a balloon matters, but I didn't feel like we were important.

I could not have been more impressed with the care that my son got from Dr. Moody. My son has special needs and Dr. Moody went above and beyond to make sure our concerns were addressed and our son got the gold standard of care. Not only did he spend extra time helping my son feel comfortable in his office, he sat with my husband and I to hear our concerns and hesitations. It is clear that his compassion, patience and dedication to high quality work drive his treatment... right down to a call from him on a Friday night to check in to see how our son was doing after his dental procedure. I was genuinely impressed every step of the way. 5 stars doesn't seem to do this dentist justice... and, I'm not usually one to leave reviews, but this quality of care warrants it.

We went for a consult for my daughters treatment plan and trying to find a good pediatric dentist who is local. Dr Chamberlain never introduced himself, as we were New Patients, asked our names and wasn't very welcoming to my girls or myself. We also waited twenty minutes for our appointment. Their communication with our insurance coverage was very frustrating. I chose to come here because of google reviews but was pretty disappointed today.

Had a 9:30 appointment for our newborn, got there on time and waited there for 45 minutes... for a consultation that lasted less than ten minutes. I understand waiting for 10-20 minutes but nearly an hour wait? Next time schedule the appointment for a different time or at the very least let the patients know you're gonna be a half hour late.

We've been going to Dr. Chamberlain since my 18 year old was 4 years old, he's a great dentist. All 5 of my children see him, he's great with all ages. His staff has always been friendly and helpful, as well.

We love this place!!! Doctor Moody stayed late to help patch up my Daughter after she fell off the swing set and had to get stitches in her gums. After we took her to the ER(who said they couldn't help). Doctor Moody and the Assistant made her so comfortable that now all she talks about is "The Shark" and not the stitches. They made a 3 year old not afraid of the dentist!

We had to go in with our 2 year old for some cavities and she had to be put under anesthesia and Dr. Hutchings was just amazing! He walked through everything with me as a very nervous mom and made me feel so much better about everything and what they needed to do. Also big shout out to the anesthesiologist Alex Knudsen - he was so attentive and amazing with my little one and so thorough with me about procedures and what they were going to do. I was very pleased with our experience and would recommend them to everyone!!

We looked long and hard and even visited several pediatric offices before landing here. Couldn't be more pleased with how kind and professional they were. Doctor Moody and Steve Hatch (anesthetist) were great with our little one. They also did a fantastic job at explaining the process and answering all questions. Haley from the front desk even went out of her way to check on our child and gave us updates whenever we asked. Look no further. Awesome group!

Had a fantastic experience. My 5yr old son had an abcessed tooth. The doctor took care of him in minutes, I was worried about the procedure of extracting, but Dr. Chamberlain did the best job preparing my son by talking to him and explaining the procedure. He wasn't scared or nervous. The procedure went great. So grateful for professionals like Dr Chamberlain and his assitances!
