Dr. John Cannariato grew up in New York and left in 1992 to attend Florida State University. In 1996, Dr. Cannariato began classes at the University of Florida College of Dentistry, from which he later received his dental degree. He is also a graduate of the Esthetic Epitome at the prestigious Nash Institute for Esthetic Dentistry.
To ensure that he is up on the latest and greatest cosmetic dentistry techniques, Dr. Cannariato places a strong personal emphasis on continuing education, and he exceeds the required amount needed per year. Also called post-graduate education, continuing education is needed to keep doctors abreast of changes in technology and procedures, which results in more beneficial treatment for you, the patient.
Dr. Cannariato is a nationally published clinician on esthetic dentistry. In addition to his membership in the American Dental Association, Dr. Cannariato is also affiliated with the West Coast Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. In addition to treating patients Dr. Cannariato is also an international and national lecturer in cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Benedict is a native Floridian, and attended the University of Florida where sheobtained her BS in Microbiology and Cell Science with an additional concentration inChemistry. While at the University of Florida, she was named a University Scholarfor her work in cancer research at Shands Hospital.After obtaining her undergraduate degree, Dr. Benedict elected to attend NovaSoutheastern University in Ft Lauderdale to obtain her Doctorate in DentalMedicine. She has since furthered her education through her alma mater, theUniversity of Florida, with additional training in implant surgery. Dr. Benedict hasalso earned a fellowship with the International College of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. Benedict remains involved in continuing education, staying at the forefront of dentalresearch and technology. Dr. Benedict also has additional training in RelaxationDentistry with DOCS Education, and has been published by both the AmericanAssociation for Dental Research and the International Association for DentalResearch.
Dr. Benedict strives for excellence and believes in providing her patients with thehighest quality care possible.When not at the office, Dr. Benedict believes in giving back to the community. She isan active volunteer through the Junior League of Tampa, and wants to eventuallyestablish a nonprofit foundation benefitting the Tampa Bay area. She also can befound renovating her 1920s home, which has proven to be an ongoing project andsource of enjoyment.
