Dr. Wyatt enjoys all aspects of dentistry. He decided to become a dentist in 5th grade. He would grow more and more interested in dentistry each time he went to get his teeth cleaned. He is fortunate to know what he wanted to be when he grew up from a very young age.
After attending the University of Alabama for his undergraduate studies, he received his D.M.D. from the University of Pittsburgh in 2009. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys exercising in his spare time. His wife is also a Crimson Tide fanatic. His favorite part of dentistry is the patient care portion. Whether it be restorative dentistry or difficult extractions to dentures, he enjoys it all! He is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and the Hillsborough Dental Association. Dr. Wyatt spends hours improving his skills through continuing education. He has attended everything from the Dawson Academy occlusion course, DOCS sedation course, Tulsa Dental Endodontic Success and countless others.
Dr. Mark McCaughey grew up in Iowa, where he received his undergraduate degree before moving to Florida to earn his D.M.D. His favorite aspects of dentistry are patient care and working with his hands.
Outside of work you can find him spending time with his family, staying active, and exploring the outdoors. He enjoys volunteering at events like the Florida Mission of Mercy and attending continuing education courses.
Dayanis, or Dee, is originally from Cuba and moved to Tampa in 2011. She finished her Dental Assistant Program in 2015, and has been in the dental field ever since. She really enjoys what she does, and takes the time to get to know every single patient better to make them feel like part of the family. Her goal is to provide every patient with quality customer service and change their mentality about coming to the dentists office.
Calyn is from Indianapolis and has lived in the Tampa area since 2001. She loves to spend time with her family, has two daughters, and thinks that the beach is the most amazing place in the world. She loves working in dentistry because she loves helping people and making them feel better about themselves.
Shelly has been part of the South Tampa team since 2016 and loves getting to know each patient that is in her care. She was awarded with her certification in dental assisting from Destined Career Institute back in her hometown. When she isn't tending to patients, Shelly is spending time with her husband and playing with her two dogs.
Cary started in dentistry when she was 18 years old. Her favorite part of dentistry is oral surgery and cosmetic dental procedures. When she isn't at the office, she enjoys spending time with her kids.
Ashley has worked at South Tampa Dentistry since March of 2018, and began her Dental Assisting career five years ago. She loves the friendly South Tampa Dental staff members, and seeing happy patients after their treatments. In her free time, Ashley enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, fur-babies, and traveling.
Laura is a proud Hoosier, raised in Bloomington, IN where she attended Indiana University and later obtained her Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene from IU South Bend. Dentistry has always been a passion of hers - she always looked forward to seeing her dentist, orthodontist, and especially her hygienist. She enjoys providing her clients with healthy smiles and is proud of these milestones for her clients. It truly brings her joy. She relocated to St. Pete almost 11 years ago and has always loved the Tampa Bay area. She enjoys many outdoor activities and spending time with her fur babies, family and friends.
Nikki, a Pinellas County native, has been with the practice since 2016. She enjoys teaching her patients how to take better care of their smile. Most of her free time is spent with family, watching her son play baseball.
Ali is originally from St. Pete and attended Concorde College in Colorado, where she earned her degree in Hygiene in 2017. She has been working in Dentistry since 2013. When not in the office, Ali likes to travel and play with her two cats.

Ever walk out of the dentist's office feeling like you hit a walk-off home run? let me start off by saying that I have had a lot of great dentists over the years. Today I was in for an urgent crown refitting, and I am absolutely amazed at how well everyone here took care of me. Calyn in reception was kind and thorough, and she made Dr. Mark aware as soon as I arrived. Dr. Mark and Shelly were quickly back and forth, handling my situation as well as the appointment of another patient who was quite the screamer. They kept their composure and had fun with me while they both took care of my x-rays and recementing my crown. as they finished up, they made me aware that Nikki had an opening for a cleaning, which I was due for. normally she is booked about 6 months out, and I could see why. she was quick, thorough and fantastic. she was an absolute delight to have clean my teeth. honestly, I don't know if I've ever had an experience as good as I the one i had today. thank you Dr Mark, and the rest of your team. you guys are amazing!

The people are great. The customer service is always great. I have been going here for years. I drive from Westchase because of the people and personable care. Hard to find providers that treat you well. Dr. Wyatt is awesome!!

My first visit there. The office was clean and the staff was friendly, and the facility was properly set up for the Covid era, They were ready for me and got me in and out quickly. The doctor was friendly and relatable. It was a very good experience. 2 years later and after regular checkups I had a minor problem that needed to be addressed, and they got me in the same day. Dr Wyatt and the staff were great. They explained the problem and what would have caused it. They were completely up front with the costs, took care of the problem and had me out in an hour (although I'll have to return for the final installation in two weeks).

I'm very particular about going to the dentist and find the South Tampa Dentistry office very comfortable. The doctors and assistants are all very friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend them to anyone looking for that personal touch.

All of the staff are great! I come here with my son. He's 10. They see both of us. I have always had a great experience. Both doctors are very kind and sweet. I genuinely trust their knowledge and that brings me comfort.. which is very important to me! It's hard to find a good doctor these days. I'm so happy we are blessed to be forever patients. The entire staff is always so friendly!! Dr Mark was awesome and my Hygentist was thorough and quick!! My experience checking out was awesome as well!! She was super informative and didn't make me feel any less because I was waiting to choose my treatment plan. We LOVE coming to South Tampa Denistry for all our dental needs!!

So nice, and customer based. First dentist out of the military and I love it here. Ivanna was amazing. I even got a blanket from them because I was freezing! Quick, friendly, and actually calls you if an appointment opens up earlier than scheduled!
