Dr. Saurabh Mankotia received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from Government Dental College and Hospital Patiala, India. He completed his postdoctoral training at Boston University, School of Dental Medicine in the Department of Health Policy and Health Services Research. His comprehensive training covered multiple areas of dentistry, where he conducted research related to Adverse Childhood Experiences & Dental Health and successfully defended his thesis earning a Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS). Dr. Mankotia is licensed to provide dental services in the state of Texas by the Western Regional Examination Board. He is certified in nitrous oxide administration. As a well-respected member of the dental community, Dr. Mankotia maintains affiliation with the American Dental Association and the State of Texas Dental Association.
Dr. Mankotia honorably served in the U.S. Army and was stationed at Fort Benning, Georgia. He served with distinction and had numerous administrative and leadership responsibilities. He received many service awards and commendation medals during his service years.
Dr. Mankotia is proud to serve families at South Star Dental where he warmly welcomes patients of all ages creating a dental home. He continues to be fascinated by the connection between a healthy mouth and a healthy body. This shows in his work, through his focus on improving his patients overall well-being and quality of life. He takes time to build close relationships with his patients and provide each and every one of them with personalized care.
He has been married for seven years and in his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, vacationing, and fitness activities. Dr. Mankotia looks forward to building relationships and serving the patients in our community with compassion and respect.

Upon finding this fantastic dentist to work with I would highly recommend South-star Dental to anyone/ DOC. M is a fantastic dentist to work with.... The procedures that I have had done for my first visit here were fabulous I had no pain for the work that he had performed/ even the staff up front and the lady Eva was polite and courteous from the beginning I walked in the door till after my procedures

I was able to get squeezed in quickly for a tooth extraction and was treated very well by the entire staff! Dr. was very professional and genuinely caring and thoroughly explained the process from the exam to the healing. I'll be going back in a few days for my follow up visit but i would definitely recommend this location to anyone in search of a dentist just based off how i was treated, truly made me feel like I had been a long time patient here!

I have extreme dental anxiety and have been putting off all dental work for a long time, I was in need of some serious help. The entire staff here has been so kind and helpful. I finally got the deep cleaning I desperately needed and am working on filling some cavities. They have helped me so much with my oral health and I am so grateful!!

My experience was great! Nice family owned dentist that really cares about you and your teeth. Cheap and honest this place is compared to other dentists I have been too. If you think your getting ripped off and need less work than what's recommended, go to south star dental . South star dental will give you honest results and compare with what the previous dentist recommended. I recommend south star dental in la marque to everyone .

My wife and I recently had some dental work done here. Very professional staff and very informative. Don't really give 5 stars but they really earned it. They are very honest & don't up charge extra unnecessary fees like other dental places. Dr. M does great sedating prior to deep cleaning and don't feel a thing. They truly care about their patients.

Dr. M is the most HONEST Dentist. Short story: 6 months ago went to my regular Dentist office because I had pain in one of my teeth and they told me I needed a crown; looked for a second opinion and they told me the same, but a different teeth, funny, right? I finally went to the office of Dr. M, explained everything and he told me that NO, I did not need a crown. The solution to my problem was really simple: flossing every day. PROBLEM SOLVED Thank you Dr. M. Thank you Eva and thank you to the doctor's assistant.

Needed a dentist and met Dr. D at our neighbor pool. Was very excited meeting her. Went to the business her and her husband run. Dr. M. explained everything going in my mouth and options that I had. Wonderful dentist. Already set up next appointment. Want to go to a dentist (s) that makes you feel comfortable, Drs. D and M are ready to see you.

By far THE BEST dentist and staff I have ever had in my 34 years!!! So patient, caring, friendly, & easy to talk to. They are willing to go above and beyond to make sure you're satisfied snd happy. I appreciate them so much that even though I just moved a hour and half away, I am keeping them & will still drive all the way there for my appointments!

Dr. M is AMAZING! I was recommended by a coworker who spoke highly of him and his staff from just one visit with them. I'm happy that I made an appt because he really took his time and I did not feel like I was getting rushed in and out.

I had three visits and they all been great, the doctor is always asking to make sure everything is ok. Eva the front desk receptionist is a pleasure to be around, she is always smiling and has made me feel welcomed each time. Keep up the good service!
