Dr. Shieh grew up in Munster, Indiana and attended Munster High School. He later graduated with honors from Purdue University in West Lafayette. Dr. Shieh graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2010. He was awarded the Gutherie P. Carr Award during his time. After graduation, Dr. Shieh wanted to provide quality comprehensive dentistry to his patients. He achieved this goal by enrolling in multiple continuing education classes. He has completed both orthodontic training through the Academy of GP Orthodontics and the Maxicourse Implant course through the American Academy Implant Dentistry. He was appointed as an Associate Implant Fellow in 2013.

Dr. Shieh has a passion in mentoring prospective dental students and young dentists. He currently serves as a board member for the Young Dental Committee in NWI and the Public Relations Committee for the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He also has a strong sense to help others by offering his time and services to the underserved. He has participated in mission trips to Guatemala to aid in this capacity. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Rachel along with family and friends. They are both avid travelers and love to be outdoors. He also enjoys playing sports, especially basketball and tennis.

Dr. Dunlop grew up in Valparaiso, Indiana. She attended Valparaiso High School and laterreceived a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Butler University, graduating with honors.Dr. Dunlop graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry with distinction in 2010. Dr.Dunlop was elected into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon national Dental Honor Society. Her lovefor children inspired her to continue her studies at Riley Hospital for Children where shereceived her Masters Degree in Pediatric Dentistry. During her residency, she was honored withthe Ralph E. McDonald Scholar Award for outstanding performance. She is also board certifiedthrough the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Dunlops pediatric dental training includes treating infants, children, teenagers and patientswith medical, physical, and mental special needs. Dr. Dunlop believes in caring for your child asif she were caring for her own. She sincerely looks forward to meeting you and your child!In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Roger and exploring NorthwestIndiana. They are both avid travelers and love to be outdoors.

Dr. Najamuddin grew up in Munster, Indiana where she attended Munster High School. She later graduated from Indiana University Northwest with a degree in Biology. Dr. Najamuddin completed her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2014. Upon graduation, Dr. Najamuddin knew she wanted to settle down in Northwest Indiana to care for the community in which she grew up. Dr. Najamuddin is a member of the American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, and Northwest Indiana Dental Society. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband Ibrahim and her two beautiful children Aria and Aydin.

Dr. Brandon Cesario grew up in Naperville, Illinois and comes from a family of dentists. Both his great-grandfather and grandfather were dentists in the Chicagoland area and have impacted his decision to become a dentist today. Obtaining his Bachelor of Biological Science at Indiana Wesleyan University, he then went to pursue his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Southern Illinois University in Alton, Illinois. While in dental school, he realized his favorite part of dentistry was treating children. He decided pediatric dentistry was his true passion. After dental school he went on to complete two additional years of specialty pediatric dental training at NYU Langone Hospital on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.

Dr. Brandon is very passionate about providing dental care to children and patients with special needs. Creating a positive atmosphere while maintaining optimal oral health is one of his top priorities. He is very proud to be part of the South Shore Smiles dental team that shares those values. His enthusiasm and friendly demeanor, combined with a sense of humor, helps ease anxiety of both patients and parents.

Some of Dr. Brandons interests and hobbies outside of dentistry include golf, traveling, exploring Chicago, running the Chicago lakefront, kayaking, eating sushi and trying new cuisine (Dr. Cesario welcomes dining suggestions). He is a big advocate for physical fitness, and enjoys working out regularly and has participated in multiple triathlons. He looks forward to working with the smallest smiles in your family.

Dr. Chiappetta goes by Dr. Chris around the office. He grew up on the Southeast side of Chicago and graduated from Mount Carmel high school. He went on to earn a BA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he was also a member of the Illini baseball team. Dr. Chris received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Illinois-Chicago in 2006. Upon graduation, he obtained licensure in both Illinois and Indiana and has worked primarily in private practice in both states focusing on general dentistry. He has also spent time working for a mobile dental team providing care to students in the Chicago Public schools. Dr. Chris prides himself on being very straightforward and honest with his patients care and strives to be a dentist that his patients can trust and feel comfortable with. He is currently a member of the Chicago and Northwest Indiana Dental societies, the Indiana Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. Dr. Chris currently resides in Hobart. In his free time, he enjoys working out, dining out, and spending time outdoors with his rescue dog
