South Shore Dental Group was established almost 30 years ago and was based on the concept that providing the best care in comprehensive family dentistry could only happen when highly trained generalists and specialists worked closely together in the same environment. We believed that this would lead to enhanced communication and would enable us to better coordinate complex care, evaluate new treatment concepts, work with and assess newly developed materials and, in some fashion provide an instant second opinion to help clarify difficult diagnostic issues.
These concepts are then presented to you through an open and ongoing exchange of information about you and your familys needs and wants, as well as a thorough understanding of the availability of advanced and comprehensive care.
Contemporary medical research has indicated that many medical issues can be positively or negatively impacted by dental health, and therefore good diagnosis and effective dental care can enhance overall health. We as dentists now have the ability to help prevent disease, not just fix your teeth.
Severe and untreated oral inflammation /periodontal disease has been implicated in a number of serious medical issues. Additionally, some people are overly responsive to inflammation and have a much higher risk of diseases. (Link to IL-1 explanation and testing)

Great dentists for kids or adults. Great hygienists also. Masks required for entry. Must wait to be asked in by phone.

Such a clean and welcoming place! From the people working the front desks to the hygienists and doctors they are all absolutely amazing and so sweet. Every reminder I get that it's time for a cleaning I can't wait to go back in! Can't recommend this place enough.

I use a power chair for Mobility. I cannot say enough good things about the office. Everyone is so warm and friendly, never appearing stressed or irritated. Such a professional atmosphere! It is difficult to negotiate in the small spaces of a dental office. They have gone out of their way to accommodate me and the wheelchair for all kinds of different dental treatment. They do family dentistry and have specialists on site.

I highly recommend this practice. I was in need of extensive restorative dental treatment and Drs. Najjar and Melita have been extremely skilled at creating and following through with a plan to ensure that my appointments are comfortable, pain free, and within my insurance coverage. The prospect of multiple big dental procedures is never fun, but I can say that I have never been to more caring and effective dentists. My daughter sees Dr. Soncini, who is an amazing pediatric dentist! She's funny, kind, and has a wonderful way of working with children - which makes bringing a young child in so reassuring. Terrific dental practice!

Great staff and doctors; their new pristine and clean office sends a message of warmth and tenderness to patients. Took my kids for cleaning and I was blown away by their pediatric department , a professional and comforting atmosphere where my kids stayed calmed. Highly recommended.

I come here for my cleanings, the office and staff have the highest standards for cleaning and maintaining sanitation standards. Dr. Segura is so kind, friendly, professional - truly he is a master surgeon. I can not only smile with confidence but also happy my teeth are in good hands with everyone in this practice.

I am a new patient, but Dr. Najjar and my hygienist, Carolyn, are both spectacular. They explained everything thoroughly, were personable and made me feel incredibly comfortable. Very clean facilities and the staff at the front desk are very nice as well. Highly recommend!

I have going here for MANY years. My dentist is Dr. J.Camile Segura who truly is OUTSTANDING! He as well as all of the office staff are extremely respectful at all times. My hygienist is Carol Carlson who is also EXCELLENT. After my cleaning, she alerts Dr. Segura if she feels there might be an issue before he examines my teeth. She is always spot on with her findings. They both have a wealth of experience and expertise and HIGHLY recommend them for your future dental needs.

Awesome place been going for along time very easy place to deal with within reason not brutal like some places they will explain things and what is going on with your teeth and health and how to take care of them they do care if something is not right they will let you know and let you decided what and when to do whatever you need.done no pressure of course within reason and timely fashion after all your teeth are supposed to last you a life time I know it's easy to say just pull them out and get denture but they will give you other option.
