Introducing our dental assistants, AKA our A-team! These ladies are hard workers that are determined to create an organized, enjoyable, and welcoming workplace. Our team is full of diverse and energetic personalities. They strive to help maintain and achieve beautiful and healthy smiles!
Nancy is the team leader, Office Manager, and Momager of SSAD. She takes care of us together and individually, has a caring personality, and treats us all like family. Our patients and staff love her positive and bubbly personality and contagious smile!
Placing a high priority on staying current with emerging dental technology, Dr. Tarantino attends a multitude of continuing education courses each year related to everything from the latest trends in patient comfort and service to advanced training in complex cosmetic and restorative care. His professional affiliations include membership in the American Dental Association, the Nassau County Dental Society, along with the Queens County Dental Society. He also volunteered through the Dominican Republic Dental Outreach Program where he had the opportunity to participate in local outreach programs for school children, the elderly, people with disabilities, the homeless, and other disadvantaged populations.
Dr. Tarantino grew up attending public school locally, in Seaford and he resides in the Massapequa. He graduated from the State University of New York at Stony Brook with a Bachelors degree in Chemistry. After graduating from the College of Dentistry at New York University, he did a year-long Dental Hospital Residency at Jamaica Hospital concentrating on emergency/traumatic care in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
Dr. Joshua Prensky was born and raised in Manhattan where he attended Yeshiva University. He currently lives in Jersey City with his wife and three children. Dr. Prensky participated at the City College of New York for his Bachelors Degree, and he received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the New York University College of Dentistry. Before working in private practice, he did a one year residency at Jamaica Hospital, where he met Dr. Tarantino.
Dr. Prensky is loved by the patients and staff of South Shore Aesthetic Dentistry. He prioritizes continuing education and building relationships with his patients. His dedication to his work and proficiency in many areas of dentistry makes sitting in his chair a comfortable experience for all.

DrJosh was amazing I was in and out he was very calming as well as Entire office staff. Squeezed me in and I am a new patient! My first appointment is in June. I thought I had a cavity and I did, called them Monday and they called me Tuesday to let me know they had an opening! Thank you!
