I booked a new patient appointment, I received 3 phone calls telling they couldn't find my insurance coverage , then when we found DOB was wrong then it was supposed to be ok . I arrived to my appointment and they hadn't updated the info in the system , they completed test and x-rays but they said they couldn't complete my cleaning until they get approval from insurance , I was at the office more than 90 minutes waiting and when I finally got the approval with zero co-payment , then I needed to leave due to work meetings. I could have my cleaning done completed while they got insurance confirmation

I was with this dental clinic for about five years. On my first visit, they numbed the left side of my entire face for a filling, and then left me alone in the chair for so long (30+ minutes) that I had a panic attack because it felt like I couldn't swallow. When the dentist finally came, it took me a while to get my breathing under control, and he left me alone again "to give me space", without asking if that's what I wanted (it wasn't). I visited twice during the pandemic. Patients and receptionists were not masked. The receptionist pretended she couldn't understand me because I was wearing a mask, but I kept it on. Unmasked patients were in the waiting room coughing, hacking, and sneezing. I am looking for a new dentist.

Passable service. Nothing amazing. Ortho is often slow (I'm nearing 30mins wait as I type) and the staff is terse and abrupt. If I hadn't been sent/misled by my dentist to start orthodontic treatment at this office, I would never continue.

Dr. Lopez is an amazing human and a great dentist. I had written a previous review that wasn't fair, granted I do still hate their call center and highly suggest only calling during business hours but Dr. Lopez is good people and I'm glad to have her as my dentist. I wish the office wasn't as busy because it's understandable.

I've been coming here for about 5 years now. My experience was ok, but I've have a different dentist almost every time I visited. On the most recent visit, they suggested I get a "deep" clean and would not do a regular cleaning. I got a second opinion from a family dentist who said it was not necessary. In addition, the cost they gave me (in addition to what my excellent insurance pays) was way more than anyone I know has had to pay for this procedure. The worst part is that they wouldn't do the regular cleaning (under the pretense that I needed the more extensive cleaning). Unfortunately, I don't feel like I can trust this place any more.

I couldn't be happier and more pleased with, dental hygienist; Shazia. My experience was wonderful - - she's very knowledgeable and her bed side manner is on par. I walked away feeling good and confident. Shzia is efficient, and cares about the work she provides. I love that she engages with patient education and daily tips and tricks to maintain a happy smile. I definitely recommended her service and the commend the entire office on their proficiency.

My spouse and I went here for several years quite some time ago and now see a different dentist in town. We decided to leave this business, because that is exactly how they operate - a business to make money. Every single time we came in, there was something wrong with our teeth and oral health. Every time. We had to have numerous additional procedures including crowns. I started to seriously wonder how both our teeth could be so bad when prior dentists had never noticed such oral health issues before. We paid thousands of dollars out of pocket to his company. I assume many of these procedures were unnecessary. When they told us we had to have this and that done each time, immediately someone would come in and talk to me or my husband about out of pocket costs and payment plans, and financing they had. In hindsight, it seemed such a scam. We left after dishing out so much money and our oral health apparently not improving. We see a great local dentist who has his own solo practice. We have been there for about 10 years now and I only recently had to have my first procedure with him (aside from cleanings) because a 20 year old filling needed to be taken care of. He has been honest and I have only paid a few hundred dollars out of pocket since I have been with him. Be very wary of South River Dental.

Just moved to the area and was recommended this place. I canceled my appointment after being in the lobby 15 minutes. Staff members not wearing masks. Patients not wearing masks. Patients pulling their mask away from their face to communicate because the music was *so loud*. Everyone had to shout over the music and basically violated HIPPA because the entire waiting room could hear the conversations. High risk people go to the dentist, too. It all felt very profit-focused and not patient-focused.

I went in for a filing. The dentist was nice but was talking while working over my mouth how hunger she was. After the numbness wore off I got this Excruciating pain when I bite down on the filing. I went back twice to get the filing lowered but I was still having a lot of pain. finally I was recommended to have a root canal done. I feel that the dentist went to deep and caused an affection. the whole experience was a nightmare and cost me a lot of money and time off of work. every time I called into the office complaining about how painful it was the dentist just brushed itoff .I will never return back to that place.

This is the most amazing group of dental staff I have ever experienced. Not only were they amazing with my little kids (one who is terrified of the dentist) but they were also amazing with me (mom) who is also terrified of the dentist. They made me feel so normal about it and less ashamed for my fears. They are also quick and not a lot of waiting. They are straightforward with the work that needs to be done and do not try to up sell you on dental procedures and products that you don't need. Dr. Bautista will make you feel right at home and he genuinely cares about his patients!

Very rude receptionist. No one waiting never acknowledged us as if he was too busy. Then had the nerve to ask about us having a mask after standing there 5 minutes and still did not greet us after. Needless to say we will not return.

The front desk staff is very rude. It took them about 10 minutes to acknowledge me, even though there were three people and only one of them was on the phone. I asked for a payment plan and they actually ended up charging me the full amount. When I called to discuss the charge, I was informed that the manager would call me back, well that was 3 weeks ago, I'm still waiting for a call. Additionally, the actual service felt very rushed. It's a shame because I have been coming here for about 5 years and only recently I noticed a negative change.

My experience at this dental office was awful,i would rather have had dinner with Hannibal Lecter,it took nearly a year for my bridge to be completed, the temporaries failed at least 6 times.The bridge i waited so long for fell out this morning....honestly i cant believe i subjected myself and family members to your shoddy dental practices.....oh and lets not forget high cost $$$ dental cleaning $900,absurd by any standards..i'am embarrassed to have stepped foot into such an unprofessional dental facility!!!

Had a root canal performed here and paid for a crown, now i jave to jave another root canal because it was not done correctly the first time. Also had really painful cleaning. Glad i switched

Extremely rude and deceptive. I came in for a standard cleaning and they decided to just do X-rays and try and schedule me for a deep cleaning which is not covered by insurance and would cost me $2k. I've never paid for dental procedure in my life and they refuse to provide a basic cleaning service. HORRIBLE. Do NOT GO HERE.
