Updated 7/2022 Dr Jones and Sarah were whom I saw I can honestly say I am impressed with both of their customer service and dental chair manner(lol). I am glad I was able to be treated by her and its just my initial visit. Thank you for being so caring many doctors need to follow your demeanor. I have to edit this review, 6/27/2022 as I have been faced with some challenges. The office manager for some reason has been holding out submitting my claim to my insurance. It has now been 7 months she has been telling me she mailed it and then sent it electronically for.mobths when it only take the insurance 48 hrs on average to approve claims. I have paid for 1 implant instead of the 2 which I should have. Due to an infection at the south Carolina office. This is totally unacceptable and you have a contractual agreement to submit these claims for in network business. My prior review was a 5 it has been downgraded to a 1 star. Then the other staff has been totally rude to me due to her rumors. And she is their manager this is totally not how to treat people because of your negligible acts. It doesn't take over 7months to submit a claim.

Dr. Jones and the staff are amazing! They're always on time and professional from booking and reminders through procedures. With something as sensitive as your smile they are so empathetic and detail oriented in providing the best care possible. Other health care providers could certainly learn how to better their operation by following the model here. I appreciate them greatly!!

Dr. Cockerham and his staff are absolutely phenomenal. I had an amazing experience and I would give them 10 stars instead of 5 if that was an option.

I was told by my regular dentist that I needed to see a PerIdontist for some gum recession that I have recently experienced. I saw dr offutt. They scheduled a gun graft about 2 weeks later. Long story told short I was talked into having this procedure and told maybe a single day of discomfort and 1 day of work missed. Let me tell you that the gum graft I received was the most painful procedure I've ever had. I called and visited the office and voiced my concern. My concerns were totally ignored. I had 2 weeks of severe pain. The office just acted like they could have cared less. I just feel like I was not told the truth. After talking to others that have also had this procedure they also told me that it came with severe pain. I wish I would had known this before I had it. I hope I never need another because of this experience I will never do it again.

Shayna and Andrea have been the sweetest, most caring hygienists. I have appreciated their professionalism and compassion. Dr. Cockerham did a great job on my gum graft as well and I am grateful for that! Highly recommend this office.

Dr. Offut and his staff are very attentive and courteous to their patients.. Very clean and safe operating environment in response to the COVID-19 response. Love their attention to detail and thoroughness.

I decide on this office because Dr Offutt came highly recommended but when I got there I was seen by Dr Jones. She removed a tooth and twice tried to put in a bone graft - both failed. She was not competent with my case and caused a lot of pain. Then they wanted me back every 4 months for perio maintenance. Now a year later I find out they were not coding for perio maintenance because I did not qualify - but they did not tell me that. They billed for regular cleanings and now I am getting billed for the extra cleanings. My advice - if you decide to to there - 1) avoid Dr Jones 2) be very clear about how they are coding and what the out of pocket will be - realizing that they don't always tell the full story just give you the answer you want to hear. Finally, every time I get a cleaning, I am in some discomfort in at least one area of my mouth for several days.

Friendly staff from the front desk to your care technician. Both Dr Offutt and Dr Cochran are awesome! I highly recommend for your periodontal needs.

First my appointment was at 9:00 and they didn't call me back to a room until about 9:40. I expect communication about delays but didn't receive one. I finally asked about my appointment at 9:25 and was told the doctor was finishing with someone else. When I was called back, the dental technician was so apologetic and said they didn't have enough rooms. She didn't have anything to do with that and she was as sweet as she could be. Afterwards my experience got better with the doctor, but was told I would have a treatment plan today to my phone which I never received. This is the second experience in two months with Dr offices where they didn't have enough rooms. My thought is they need to schedule appointments more to what they can handle.appropriately. BTW, I checked my email junk folder, my texts, and my voice mail. Nothing, so I hope something comes in soon

Dr. Offutt and his Staff are the amazing. They are courteous, friendly, and professional. Always a pleasant atmosphere. They are all knowledgeable and will help with any questions you may have. Hands down the best in Charlotte.
